Chap 18

The girls were in the kitchen making dinner with the vegetables Chaeyoung bought, they all hid their tears with huge smiles as they chatted and laughed endlessly

"Let's bake a cake!" Lisa said "What are we celebrating??, The fact that the guys don't trust us?" Jennie asked picking up another carrot to dice

"Unnie, forget about them, I'm craving cake so why not?" Lisa said "Fine, since our pregnant princess wants it we'll bake it after we're done preparing dinner" Chaeyoung said casually taking a piece of cabbage which she sliced

"What flavor?" Jieun asked "Chocolate!" Jisoo replied with a wide smile "That'll be nice" Jieun replied just then Jiwon ran in with Jisoo's phone in his hand

"Mummy, daddy's calling!" Jiwon said excited which made Jisoo's smile drop but the other girls still teased and laughed together

Jisoo answered the call "Yes?" "It seems you girls are happy" Jin said after hearing a round of laughter "Why??, we shouldn't be happy??, You want us sulking, right??"

"I don't care if you're sulking or smiling, I just wanted to ask for your address"
"Why??" "So we can send you girls the divorce papers" Jin answered

Jisoo kept quiet for a while before speaking with heavy hatred "You don't need to know our address, we'll meet up somewhere"

"Where?" "ASD Café opposite QE Park" Jisoo said resisting the urge to smash her phone "Okay, tomorrow, 2pm sharp" As soon as Jin said those, Jisoo ended the call

"Girls, we're meeting the guys tomorrow, prepare yourselves" Jisoo said holding back tears

"Unnie, If I see a single tear!, it won't end well between you and I" Jennie said sternly which made Jisoo chuckle and wipe her tears

"Come on, let's bake the cake" Chaeyoung said "Yh, you guys finish that.." She pointed to the stove "..And I'll pick out the ingredients for the cake" Jisoo smiled brightly and they all got to work

After some time, the girls finished baking the cake all that's left is to add frosting, Jisoo had pink, Jieun blue, Chaeyoung red, Lisa yellow and Jennie purple

They started to decorate the cake not forgetting to smear some on one another which obviously always lightens the mood

Finally, they were done covered with frosting but they didn't mind, This happy facade is just a mask to hide their unhappiness cos they can't afford to make each other sad

But deep down they're hurting more than ever, the pain they're in now can be compared to the pain they felt when they were tortured, orphans and had a worthless life

Jisoo picked up the cake and took it to the dining table were everyone sat down then ate their dinner

Chaeyoung smiled sadly seeing the kids, she's in more pain than the rest, they have their kids while she doesn't

She didn't only lose her love but her child, she swore to herself to get back her daughter even if it's the last thing she'll do

Everyone retired to their rooms, the warm smile once adoring their faces turned stiff

Laying on their beds hugging themselves through their tears, comforting themselves

Next morning
The girls got ready to meet the guys, they got into their respective cars and made their way to the café where the boys were already waiting

The girls walked over and sat, their cold and dominating aura killing "Order whatever you want" Taehyung said passing them a menu

"We came here to get divorced not to chat over coffee" Jennie said coldly

"The papers will be here in a while, are you sure you don't want to eat something?" Jimin asked

"If you must know, we ate before leaving, so we don't need your hostility" Jieun said passing Taehyun to Jennie

"Are you sure you want to do this??" Lisa asked her voice hoarse "Just sign it" Jungkook said and passed papers to the girls

"How's Jae?" Chaeyoung asked Jimin who looks at her with cold eyes "She's doing perfect"

"That's nice" Chaeyoung picked up the pen "So when am I allowed to see her??"

"Never" Jimin's reply made Chaeyoung chuckle coldly "Jimin, there's nothing you can do to stop me from seeing my daughter, but I'll let you have your way.."

"But this is a promise from Kim Chaeyoung, Nothing you do will stop me from seeing my daughter, I'll take her back even if I have to kill you" She said very coldly but her last words broke her heart as well as Jimin's

But she didn't let it show on her face, she gave a cold smile and signed the papers

Lisa caressed her baby bump "Jeon Jungkook, I'm pregnant with your daughter, if we get divorced, I promise you won't get a glimpse of her face" Lisa didn't give him a chance to reply as she quickly signed the divorce papers

"Now nothing is holding us together"

Taehyun tried to get out of Jennie's hold to his father but Jennie didn't let him "Why don't I take him, he seems to like me better" Taehyung said which made Jennie eye him

"Over my dead body, he's only acting this way cos he hasn't seen you in months, don't worry he'll get used to it"

"Are you sure about that?" Taehyung asked with a sly smirk "Very sure" Jennie didn't wait another second and signed the divorce papers

"Daddy, you're very rude" Jiwon pulled Jin's ear "Do you know you guys made my mum and pretty Aunties cry, if you don't say sorry, I won't ever talk to you again" Jiwon said again while Jisoo signed the papers

"Come on, say it" Jiwon urges his dad who just stared at him "You aren't saying it??, Fine, I'll never talk to you again" Jiwon huffed and faced his mom

"Let's go" Jieun said and the girls stood up to leave "Jennie" A voice calls, The girls turn to see three manly figures wearing masks

The girls looked at Jennie confused but she was equally confused, she walked to the guy who called her name, the girls tailing behind her

"And you are??" She asked coldly which made the man chuckle before removing his mask as well as the two

The girls immediately smiled dropping their cold aura replacing it with a very welcoming one

"My babies!!" Lisa yelled and hugged the third person
