Meghan's POV
Dean and I were waiting at the old barn outside of Fort Frances.
"Oh good! You made it" Adam had a devilish grin.
"I'm ready to choose" I exclaimed.
He grinned and pulled his phone out, "Who's it going to be"
I took a deep breath in, and said, "I chose to save Olivia"
Adam's thumbs twittled across his IPhone 6 screen.
"Hey Asshole!" Rianna screamed from behind Adam, "Eat Lead!"
Rianna held a gun and aimed it at Adam. Unfortunately, it hit him in the shin, which sent him falling to the ground.
He chuckled mischievously, "And you thought that I was stupid enough to come alone? I have back up of my own"
We all had puzzled expressions painted on our faces.
Suddenly, we heard a ear bleeding shriek. It was Jaiden!
All three of us ran outside of the barn to see what happened.
The first thing we saw was a large truck driving away, and Bobby laying unconscious on the ground with Jaiden at his side, and tears rushing down her face.
We all rushed to them.
"What happened?" Dean asked
"We were waiting out here like you told us to. Then we heard a gun shot and we were worried, so we went to go check up on you. We started walking to the barn and all I saw was bright car light. Bobby shoved me out of the way, and I looked back and saw Bobby go flying up in the air. Now he's barley breathing" Jaiden cried.
"He'll be okay" I whispered, "He has to be!"
Jaiden shook him, "Bobby! Don't you dare leave me!" She screamed.
Bobby's eyes opened the slightest bit, "Look at the stars" he whispered.
Jaiden looked up, "Yeah! Focus on the stars Bobby! Don't think about the pain!"
Bobby lifted up his hand to hold Jaiden's.
"I love you" he whispered.
Jaiden's tears began to rapidly race down her face.
"No! Bobby you can't leave me! What am I going to do with out you? Who's going to make up mission names with me? Who's going to gaze at the stars with me? Who's going to help me save my friends?" She asked.
Tears started rolling down my cheeks. Bobby was one of my oldest friends. He was there for me in toughest times. He was like a brother to me.
"He's not breathing!" Jaiden screeched.
Rianna kneeled down to feel Bobby's pulse. Her expression was saddened. "I'm sorry"
Jaiden bursted out into a puddle of tears.
"No!" She cried.
Dean hugged me, "He was a good man"
No. Adam would not win like this..
I stormed into the barn carrying Dean's gun.
"Adam! I know you're in here you fucking prick!" I shouted.
Adam stood up carrying a gun as well.
"Sorry about Bobby" he smirked, "but I told you people would die if you played games with me"
"I should have never let you into my life. I should've killed you when you were wrapped around my finger"
"Meghan, I gave your life purpose. Where would you be without me? Skipping class with your asshole of a boyfriend? Friendless?" He laughed.
"Maybe if you weren't still obsessed with me you would of found a purpose in your life!" I fired at him.
Adam's face was enraged. He placed his hands on the trigger of his gun and aimed it towards me.
Before I could even blink a bullet bolted through my leg.
I fell to the ground clutching my wound.
"You're done ruining my life" He spat, "Goodbye Meghan"
He gripped his hands firmly on his gun amd aimed it at my head.
I shut my eyes and prepared for death to come.
Death is peaceful. I thought to myself, calming and quiet.
I heard nothing. I felt nothing. There was no blaring gun shot, no pain from the bullet.
Was I dead?
I peaked my eyes open.
Instead of finding Adam hovering over my body laughing like a mad man, Adam was laying on the ground with a knife stabbed into his back.
A shadowy figure, draped in all black clothing, looked to be female, ripped the bloody knife out of his back.
Adam winced in pain.
"Who are you?" I asked.
The shadowy figure pulled down her hood, "Miss me?"
"Ava!?" I exclaimed, "You're awake? How did you know about the meet up at the barn?"
Ava smiled, "Shawn informed me in all that I missed when I was gone"
"I would get up and hug you but, I currently have a bullet in my leg"
She kneeled down to me and gave me a great bear hug.
Rianna walked in the barn.
"Ava?" She stopped herself. Then suddenly came charging towards us and joined in our hug.
"Where's Jaiden and Olivia?" Ava asked.
Rianna and I exchanged glances.
"Olivia's just leaving Sault Saint Marie, and Jaiden... she's mourning over the loss of Bobby" Rianna explained.
"Did Adam-"
Jaiden jumped in and interrupted her, "Yes"
Ava handed Jaiden the blood covered knife.
Jaiden forcefully stabbed Adam in the side of his leg.
He shrieked.
"That was for Bobby" she handed the knife to Rianna, "Rot in hell, you little bitch!"
Rianna sliced Adam's arm once, "That was for kidnapping my boyfriend, and for trying to get me to betray Meghan by handing Dean over to you!"
Rianna handed the knife to me.
I threw it behind my back and pulled Dean's gun out.
"This is for fucking with the wrong squad!"
Adam gave me a look of fear.
"See you in hell, you ass hole!"
I pulled the trigger.
