Welcome to the School Full of Elite Students!
Ryuen has begun starting his attacks against Class C- slowly but surely trying to mak...
I slowly got off his limp body and stood. I quickly went to the 4 unconscious people laying on the floor.
It's likely they all had passwords to their phones.
'That sucks.'
It was a miscalculation on my part. With Shinjiro's blackmail on Ryuuen's phone, it still meant that Ryuuen had leverage over me. It was entirely possible that he could've sent them to Ibuki, Ishizaki and Albert.
At best I could threaten to expel all of them unless they delete all forms of the blackmail on their phones. Nevertheless, I checked each of their phones. Only Albert had no password and after vigorously looking through his phone, he had no blackmail of Shinjiro.
Even if there was one who didn't have it, the rest could still have the blackmail.
"I deal with this later," I muttered to myself. Besides—
I couldn't leave Karuizawa all tied up and cold, so i went to her and started unknotting the ropes. While do so, I began to speak.
"Sorry. I put you in a really difficult situation. Are you hurt?" I asked her.
"...I'm fine... mostly. My nostrils and throat still hurt from that waterboarding and my skin is burning because of the tight ropes... but I'm okay."
After untying her, I stood up and extended my hand towards her. When she took it, her fingers felt like freezing ice.
"Are you disillusioned with me now?" I asked.
"Of course I am. You betrayed me from the very beginning. Too many things..."
I did outright admit that I'd deceived Karuizawa, but now wasn't quite the time to talk.
"We can talk about it later. Now isn't the time."
"I understand that..."
"...So... why didn't you sell me out to Ryuuen?" I asked.
For my own sake. That's all there is to it," she replied before collapsing into my arms, trembling. knowing that she was unstable, I hugged her tightly.
"I was scared. I was so scared!"

"Don't think about it anymore. What happened today, what's happened so far. You can think about that stuff later. The only thing that's for certain right now, in this moment, is that your curse has been lifted. Manabe...no, no one will dig up your past again. As for what's to come, well, you can just keep going the way you always have," I told her.
Karuizawa was depending on me to hold her body upright, perhaps because she lacked the strength to support herself right now. If I looked at things from her perspective, these had been a disastrous few months.
She'd been bullied by Manabe and her friend through a stroke of bad luck, then been intentionally targeted for bullying as well. Finally, Ryuuen had dug up the scars of her past, and she'd realized it was all because of me.
