you and jaehyun had been dating together for nearly a year now. at first, everyone in your campus was curious about how you two ended up together since you and him were the totally opposite of each other.

jaehyun was the person who everyone in the campus knew because of how friendly he was. he at least knew one or two people in every class, even the professors there liked him.

on the other side, you were the typical introvert in your campus, you tried to avoid any social interaction as you could. only a few people knew you and they were the one who shared the same class as you.

now, here's the story of how you two ended up together.

jaehyun had been paying attention to you ever since he saw you passing by the soccer field.

love at first sight, it's cliché but that's what he told you.

after that day, he started to look for you in the campus and tried his best to get to know you while not giving you pressure, knowing well that you didn't like any social interaction.

it all started with a small "hi" from him, you were stunned at first, you even turned around to see if he was greeting someone behind you but you were the only one there.

you pointed yourself and mumbled, "me?" he nodded with a smile while looking at you. you avoided his eyes and waved at him, mumbling a small "hi" before walking away from him.

he looked at you who was walking away from him, he let out a chuckle after he managed to let you talked(?) to him.

afterwards, it became a routine for him to greet or compliment you whenever he saw you.

after you seemed to be comfortable with him greeting you, he decided to ask you if he could come and seat with you in the canteen.

you were hesitant at first but eventually accepted his request. he took a seat across from you and ate his food quietly without bothering you since he's already happy just by being with you.

one time, he asked you, "do you like peach?" you looked at him and nodded which made him smiled, he then handed you a peach flavoured drink, "here, i got this for free."

you looked at the drink for a second before taking it from him, "thank you," you said. he smiled and said, "i won't be eating with you today since i have class soon, enjoy the drink and eat well!" he waved at you before walking out from the canteen.

you stared at the drink, not knowing your lips formed a smile because of him.

he had been doing these things for months, you hated to admit it but you were slowly developing a crush on him. you told yourself before to not like someone that you barely knew but here you were, smiling at the drink he gave you.

he's driving me crazy

a few days passed, you and jaehyun were in an empty lecture hall. at first, you were there alone just to finish your notes but he somehow walked passed the hall and saw you so he decided to accompany you like usual.

he was sipping his juice box while looking his phone in silence, not wanting to disturb you. as you finished writing your notes, you turned your attention towards him, looking at him until he looked back at you.

a few moments later, he finally looked at you, tilting his head and asked, "why? something's wrong?" you shook your head, mumbling a small "nothing" before lying down on the table. he copied your action and laid down as well, still staring at you.

none of you talked, just busy admiring each other's faces, causing you two liked each other a little bit more.

you never knew you could hold an eye contact with a guy this long before, maybe he's the only one who could make you feel comfortable in a short time.
