The winter spirit continued to quietly observe Selene as she interacted with her fellow teachers. He noticed her kind and careful demeanor as she spoke, intrigued by her thoughtfulness,
"Here let me help" she volunteered when one Teacher asked for assistance

"Thanks Ma'am Selene" her co-teacher said when she carried some of her papers

As more classes began, Jack took his silent place at the back every time, watching intently. He would sometimes tell the students not to look at him or talk to him so that Selene wouldn't notice.

"Well done, everyone! I'll see you all tomorrow!" Selene bid farewell to her last students.

They all did the same routine, hugged her and thanked her before exiting the classroom.

Jack noticed how her morning glow started to fade as the day went by but she still maintained her passion and smile on her face.
"How do you do all these?" Jack watched her closely from her table.

Selene sighed and drank some water,
soothing her throat from all the discussions. After a while, she stood up and began to proceed to the teachers' lounge.

Jamie, who just came from his class, pulled Jack aside, a perplexed look on his face. "Jack, why are you still following Selene around?" he asked, keeping his voice low. "I thought you would have gone by now."

Jack, caught off guard, quickly conjured up some reasons. "Well, you know, I just wanted to observe her a bit more," he explained. "She's a really good teacher, you know."

The kid gave Jack a skeptical look, clearly not convinced by his excuses. "I don't believe you," he said bluntly. "You're up to something, aren't you?"

The winter spirit let out a sigh and finally admitted the truth. "Alright, you caught me," he said sheepishly. "I'm intrigued by Selene. She's fascinating, you know? Her ability to connect with the kids, her patience, her kindness. I want to know more about her."

Jamie couldn't help but chuckle, pleased that his instincts had been correct. "I knew it!" he exclaimed. "I knew Selene was something special, and now it seems like you've been captivated by her too."

Jack attempted to protest, his cheeks slightly flushed, but he knew that the kid was just teasing him. He tried to play it cool, replying with a smirk. "Oh, come on, I'm just being observant, that's all."

Jamie crossed his arms, observing Jack's behavior. Then, suddenly Selene's voice called out to him.

Selene approached him while carrying her bag and paperwork, "Hey, Jamie," she said with a smile. "How's your project coming along?"

Meanwhile, Jack stood nearby, listening intently to their conversation.

Jamie explained that it was going well. Selene playfully smiled, "Okay, don't overdo it. You might steal my position as an art teacher you know. Well, I'll see you tomorrow, okay? Bye."

Jamie's face turned red as Selene complimented him, and he managed to stutter out a farewell. "Uh, yeah, b-bye."

Jack, standing nearby, chuckled softly, amused by Jamie's reaction. "Looks like you've got a little crush there," he teased.

The two boys continued to banter back and forth, both of them taking turns to tease each other about their mutual admiration for Selene.

"You know, you're not denying that you have a crush on her," Jack teased Jamie, a mischievous grin on his face.

"Says the one who's stalking her around and watching her all day." Jamie replied, teasing him back.

Jack tried to protest, but Jamie's response was quick and on point. He chuckled awkwardly and retorted, "Hey, I'm not stalking her. I'm just... observing her teaching methods. It's purely for guardian purposes."
