Aadhyaa held the papers in her hand firmly, afraid that it might just vanish and sat on her chair with tears. He was right, he may not be the best father, but he never left her and always was by her side. The fault was on both their sides and neither of them were able to see the other person's POVs. It was common, but others mend it while they couldn't. She always longed to have a normal proper conversation with her father, like the ones with her mother and she was quite close with him as a child. When they drifted apart, she didn't know. All she realized was that this was her chance. To mend that relationship and steer it to the way she wished it to be. She was sure, now that she understood his feelings, they can definitely work something out. It may not be perfect, but it will be the best it can ever be.

Aadhyaa barged into the VIP suite, only to find Mayank and everyone sitting there solemnly. Her heart started thumping fast, and her face lost all the colors. She couldn't open her mouth to ask what was wrong and she just kneeled beside her father's, her nana's, bed while holding his hand.

"What's the matter?" She asked Mayank, confused because the EKG and the monitors showed nothing wrong.

"Nothing neurological. Only issue is that he has a pre-existing condition." Mayank said, glumly.

"Cancer?" She asked, scared.

"Sheshh, no." Mayank said, scrunching his face. "In his lungs."

"Oh, what is wrong then?" She asked, relieved. She held her father's hands tighter.

"We don't have enough skilled surgeons to do this kind of surgery in this branch of Aadhyank." He said, rolling his eyes.

"So? Just call an old friend." She replied, shrugging her shoulders.

"Wait, you knew someone?" Harshan and Dhrithi asked, shocked. Mayank raised his hands in surrender.

"Not me." He said, and turned to Aadhyaa. "Do we know someone?"

"Yes, Krishna." She said simply, making him confused.

"God no, no way. You hate her." He said, confused.

"So what. I can set differences aside. My nana matters more to me." Aadhyaa said smiling and picked her phone to call her old nemesis while Mayank and Anyra smiled at each in understanding.
