Eclipse's POV

I stay under the blanket with Luno and Apollo, still holding me. Then I hear footsteps and see Lunar gently pull the blanket off.

“Hey, Eclipse. Sorry if something scared you. Are you okay now?” Lunar asks, looking down at me. I notice how terrified he seems—probably because he knows Sun will kick his butt if I get hurt or go missing. This is his last chance to prove he can take care of me, Apollo, and Luno.

He picks me up, and I notice Luno and Apollo getting up too. At the doorway, Blood Moon keeps his distance. “How about I take you guys upstairs to the daycare so you can play?”

Both Apollo and Luno look excited at the suggestion, and I stay in Lunar’s arms as he takes us to the elevator, heading up to the daycare in the Pizza Plex.

Lunar's POV

Sun is going to kill me if any of the kids get hurt again. Especially since I’ve had to take Apollo to the hospital multiple times while babysitting. The kid has terrible luck.

I still don’t know why Eclipse panicked when he saw Blood Moon, but I’m not going to question it. I hold Eclipse close as the elevator takes us upstairs to the daycare. It’s daytime, so the place is filled with kids.

I let Apollo and Luno rush off to play with the human kids in the playplace. Meanwhile, I spot Sun and Moon busy with other tasks. I set Eclipse down on the soft padding near the door so I can go to the computer and set something up.

Eclipse's POV

'Why did he bring us here? Wait—the door! Maybe I can leave and find something that’ll tell me if this is the future or just a different universe,' I think to myself, watching Lunar go over to the desk.

I carefully grab one of the balls from the playpen and climb out, quietly sneaking past the desk and out the door. As I step into the hallway, I glance around, moving toward the main area of the Pizza Plex.

'If I find my lab, then this is definitely the future. If not, it’s a different universe,' I think as I continue, unaware of the chaos about to unfold.

---

Sun's POV

As I keep an eye on the daycare, I get this gut feeling that something is wrong. I glance around and spot Lunar near the desk. I walk over to check on Eclipse and the kids.

“Lunar, where are the kids, and why are you up here? You know they shouldn’t be here when humans are around,” I say quietly so no one overhears. Lunar looks back at me, and I know Moon is handling the kids, giving us a moment to talk.

“Luno and Apollo are playing in the playplace, and Eclipse is in the playpen,” Lunar replies, turning to look at the playpen. We both freeze. Eclipse is gone.

I glare at Lunar, my eyes darkening. 'If you’ve lost my kid again, you’re not getting out of this,' I think to myself, sounding the alarm to alert the other animatronics. My gut tightens with fear—I need to find my baby before a human does.

Eclipse's POV

I’m moving down the hallway when I hear the alarm. “Code red,” it says. I don’t know what that means, but I keep going. Suddenly, I see an employee approach and try to grab me, lifting me awkwardly. I let out a yelp, and the worker looks nervous.

“What are you doing with Eclipse?” a sharp, angry voice cuts through the air. I turn and see Mangle, glaring like a mother who’s caught someone hurting her child.

“No, please, I didn’t mean to!” the employee stammers, terrified. But it’s too late. Mangle snatches me from them and covers my eyes. I can’t see what happens next, but I hear screams.

---

Mangle's POV

I cover Eclipse’s eyes and move toward the trembling employee. Grabbing them by the neck, I snap it in one quick motion, then tear their head off. Blood pours out, and I drink what I can before shoving the body into the trash.

Cradling Eclipse, I head back toward his papas. 'I’ll never let anything bad happen to my nephew,' I vow silently as I carry him away.
