forgiveness

Winny's mother finally arrives the hospital while phuwin is asleep. suddenly having a night mare about what happened, phuwin wakes up panting and suddenly a tear slips and win's mum caresses his hair making him realise her presence. He crashed into her arms crying bitterly and venting his emotions as she cries with him consoling him and assuring him all will be fine. She felt bad for her 17 year old son , going through all that must have affected him a lot. With time, phuwin barely smiled, he would mostly be in tears, flinch when been touched, have nightmares, have physiotherapy sessions to aid with his walking..

Winny told him about the Confidentiality contract and he seemed okay as he didn't want anyone talking about it. He didn't like seeing pond around as such pond would always stand out the door and see him occasionally through the door frame. Pond's father on the other hand would always show up, say hi, bring fruits and try to know more about phuwin which made phuwin a bit uncomfortable as he always hated the thoughts of Pond's father asking him for forgiveness which is why he believes he is always coming to visit. But on the contrary, Pond's father wasn't just there to ask for forgiveness,  actually he felt a sense of familiarity with him, it felt like he knew the kid and liked him from the onset but doesn't understand why. He felt the need to take care of phuwin like his son, so whenever he would see phuwin struggling during physiotherapy or because of pain anywhere his heart would break for some reason. He knew about the way phuwin's father treats him from win's mother and felt angry about it and felt for phuwin.

Today was finally the day phuwin would be discharged, all stitches, casts were gone just a crutch left for him to use since his mobility wasn't the same. Winny's mum told phuwin's Dad that phuwin would stay with her since he needs more rest and needs to recuperate. She was at home preparing food to welcome phuwin home while winny was at the hospital helping phuwin gather his things and get dressed since they were leaving.

The doctor had passed by phuwin's ward to tell him about his medication at the pharmacy counter and in fact phuwin liked this doctor so he felt a bit sad saying goodbye but had to.

Leaving his room he limped using his crutch with winny by his side as they were making their way to the counter, half way he asked winny about his bills and winny told him Pond's father had cleared everything, now he wondered out loud if he had to pay for the medicines and how much it will cost and pond's father, Pond's mum and pond himself came before him with his father saying" you don't have to pay for it son, here it is" Phuwin looked at the trio and winny who is still angry grabbed the bag of medicines. Phuwin seeing pond ,he felt scared for a minute and then angry. Then the middle aged lady came forward saying" Hi phuwin,  i' m Pond's mum" phuwin went a bit backwards and she said" I am so sorry for what Pond did son, please forgive us"...

Winny feeling enraged said" Ma'am it's really not the time, we are trying to forget everything and I won't forgive him neither will phuwin, please stop disturbing us" phuwin touched his friends' shoulder to calm him down as he was sounding a bit rude to the woman in question. Phuwin said as a tear slip down his eyes" I am sorry Ma'am but I really can't forgive him and I will never forget it , just please leave me alone, for the medicines and bills I am sorry and I will pay you back when I have the money as soon as possible, but just leave me alone"  he held winny and his crutch as they walked past them.

They didn't do anything to pond, send him to juvenile center or give him any punishments, the police couldn't do much as well, considering it wasn't Pond's fault, phuwin thinking of all this felt it was his fault for butting in and helping them, if only he had known he would have gone home that day and couldn't care less.Mag never showed up before him to ask for forgiveness or even show concern for him , after what she did to him

His tears came down as he thought of these things while leaving the hospital, Win could only wipe them and wipe his since he was crying alongside his bestfriend. Phuwin paused for a minute and told win as the tears came down.       " Never again, I would Never"..and Win cried nodding " Never ever again"...
He understood exactly what his friend meant and agreed and couldn't blame him.
