Rui POV

We all met up where we said after playing all sorts of fair games. Right now, we were on our way to the Ferris wheel. Since it was dark outside, we'd get a nice view of all the lights.

We all got on it together, Tsukasa and I on one side, and Mizuki and An on the other across from us. Tsukasa sat really close to me again like he did earlier. I didn't mind at all, obviously. But I wondered, if An and Mizuki called us lovebirds, is there a chance he could like me back?

Just as I was thinking that, Tsukasa rested his chin on my shoulder. I saw An and Mizuki exchange a surprised glance, but they didn't say anything. His hand was right next to mine, and I debated whether or not I should try to hold it. I settled on just wrapping my pinky finger around his like he did in the roller coaster line.

"The lights look incredible up here." Tsukasa said.

"I agree. Y'know, maybe I could use all these lights in our show..." I trailed off. I had an idea that could really make our show something to remember, but I wasn't exactly sure how to pull it off yet.

"For our show?" Tsukasa asked.

"I've got an idea, but it's still in progress." I told him.

"Come on, tell me what it is." He insisted.

"I don't want to get your hopes up in case it doesn't work out. I have to do some more planning first, then I'll tell you." Before I could do anything, I needed to ask Emu's brothers.

"Okay fine. You're really comfortable, by the way. Do you mind me resting on you like this?" Tsukasa asked. I blushed.

"No, not at all." I replied.

Tsukasa POV

When we exited the Ferris wheel, An and Mizuki were giggling at Mizuki's phone.

"What are you guys laughing at?" I asked.

"Nothing." An said quickly. I stared at them suspiciously.

"I'll text you about it later." Mizuki said.

"Whatever. It's starting to rain. Maybe we should call it a day?" I asked everyone.

Everyone agreed, and we made our way to the gates of Phoenix Wonderland. Now it was really raining, and no one had brought an umbrella. Rui had sneezed multiple times already, and I was worried that he was getting sick from the rain.

"Are you okay? Is the rain making you sick?" I asked him.

"I might be getting sick, but I'm fine." He answered.

"Okay, if you're sure." I said. We all began walking home, but instead of going in the direction of my house, I followed Rui.

"Aren't you going home?" He asked me.

"Yeah, but I thought I'd walk with you first."

"You don't have to do that, I can walk home by myself."

"I know that! But you're sick and I don't want you to get cold because then you'd be even more sick..."

"I appreciate it, but how does walking with me prevent me from getting cold?"

"I don't know. Does this help?" I hugged him from the side as we kept walking.

"Hehe. I feel warmer already." Rui replied. It was a bit hard to hug someone while walking, but it was worth it for Rui.

When we made it to his house, Rui spoke. "Thanks for walking with me. Wait here a second."

He disappeared into his house, and returned a moment later. He handed me an umbrella.

"Here. So you can walk home easier." Rui said just before he sneezed again.

"Thanks." I said, grateful I didn't have to be in the rain any longer.

"I don't want you to end up sick like me, so hurry and get home safe." Rui told me.

"Alright, I'll text you tomorrow." I said.

"See you." Rui closed the door, and I walked home. Safe from the cold raindrops thanks to Rui's umbrella.
