Tsukasa POV
I was still in the dressing room looking at myself in the mirror. I still had a bit of stage makeup to take off. I always found removing makeup to be difficult. Sometimes it just refuses to come off, and I dread when I have to do it.
“Tsukasa, are you in there?” I heard Rui's voice and a knock at the door.
“Yeah, you can come in!” I called back.
“Ah, I see. Is the makeup bothering you again?” Rui asked after he opened the door.
I sighed. “It never seems to come off easily no matter what I try.”
“How about I help you take it off?”
“Alright. Thanks, Rui.”
He stood in front of my chair, and tilted my head up to look at him. “Close your eyes.”
I did as I was told, and Rui wiped my face. It wasn't very gentle, but it had to be done if this makeup was going to come off. Then I felt something warm and soft on my lips. I opened one eye to see that it was Rui's lips against mine.
“Yep, I think I got all that lipstick off.” Rui said, grinning at me. I knew that wasn't his reason for kissing me, and he just wanted a kiss.
“You could just ask me for a kiss, y'know.” I replied, smiling softly at him.
“Can I kiss you then, Tsukasa?” He asked, without hesitation.
“Yes, you can, Rui.” I said, blushing. He gave me a quick kiss on the lips.
“It's getting late, we should start heading home.” Rui said, checking the time on his phone. We headed outside to find that it was lightly raining.
Rui POV
“How perfect is that?” I said.
“What's perfect?” Tsukasa asked.
“We just put on an amazing show, and now that I'm alone with you, it's raining.” I answered.
I waited for a reply from Tsukasa, but instead I got something even better. He put his arms around me, and pulled me into a gentle kiss. I was a bit surprised, but I rested my hands on his lower back and leaned into it. Nothing could be more perfect than this moment.
Tsukasa. The rain. Phoenix Wonderland. All things I treasure more than anything.
Tsukasa broke away from the kiss, determination glittering in his eyes. “Rui, now that we're officially together, we're going to be unstoppable. The show business won't know what hit them!”
Those words made me know that we're going to be together forever, and there's not one thing in the world I'd want more than that.
“Hehe, nothing can ever stop us.” I answered him.
