10. Face of Drake's - 2

' Dr, can you possibly predict the reason of Elijah's self harming behavior ? ' Rhys asked the doctor as he sat in the front of her.

Dr. Paul was reading Elijah's previous medical history. Ironically,  there's not a single mention of her psychological medical history as her mother has died 13 years ago. There should be a medical history on that. It must be really traumatic for her. In fact, her whole medical history before year 2016 is thoroughly clean. 

' There's nothing. I guess Drake's are hiding something. They completely erased her entire medical history before 2016. There's no record of previous years. This has to be something, Rhys. Drake's are trying to hide something. Or it might be just my misconception. It may be her only way to escape the situations the she can't bear with as she had already lost her close one. It can be anything.  ' Dr. Paul stated.

' Elijah did mention to me that she was admitted into a hospital for 120 days 11 years ago and she's a victim of nervous breakdown, suicidal too. ' Rhys said.

' And you're still marrying her ? Is something wrong with you ? Why would you marry a mentally unstable girl ? And you guys don't even look like you're having love marriage. Did they inform your family about this ? ' Dr. Paul was stunned. Rhys is a doctor himself. He should try to find a cure for Elijah rather than marrying her.

' Firstly,  Elijah is not a mentally unstable person. She's just a bit sick. She had treatments before and she's a lot better now. If she were to be a mentally ill person, she wouldn't have shared her darkest secrets that are hidden from others. So she's not completely sick. And about marriage, let's say I don't know about that. She's marrying me against her wish but I'm not forced to. I don't know why but one thing is confirm. If I am gonna get married then that person has to be her and her only, no one else. '

Dr. Paul sighed and shook her head. She said ' You're right too. She's not completely sick but not completely stable too. I won't interfere in your matter but let me tell you something. If she is not treated quickly, it will brought a disaster. And about you.... it seems Ms. Elijah is indeed a good person. That's why the most unromantic person of our hospital is so head over heels for her. '

Rhys didn't say anything, just nodded and shook his head. True to say,  he himself doesn't know why is he so caring about Elijah. Logically to say, it'll just cause him more trouble, still he can't just let go of that person to the hands of Drake's. He just don't want Elijah to be lonely like him or feel lonely.

' Isabelle, can you meet me at the end of the corridor ? A few meters away from Elijah's cabin ? '

Isabelle was flustered upon getting the massage from Rhys. Nevertheless, she didn't have any objection to meet with him. So, she excused herself and went to the way to meet Rhys.  Rhys was standing at the end of the corridor. Isabelle looked at him and tried to figure out what he wants to say. However, she couldn't actually predict so she asked ' What's the matter ? '

Rhys didn't know how to say it. In the past, he never tried to comfort anyone,  he didn't need to do that so it was a quiet problem for him now. He didn't know if it was a good idea to ask Isabelle for a meeting. So he hesitantly said ' So you're Elijah's cousin sister right ? You're her sister and you would probably what umm.... ummmm...umm. '

Rhys took a deep breath. He was feeling nervous but he still had to ask so he tried to ask again this time ' You know I mean to say you probably know what is she like ? I mean how's she and what is she ? Her liking, disliking  ? You probably know all of them ? '

' What ? ' Isabelle asked in horror.

' What what ? ' Rhys asked, he's confused.

' Why are you asking about Elijah's likes and dislikes ? Aren't you going to break your engagement with her ? '
