9. Faces of Drake's-1

' This is serious.  We've to inform her family. '

Dr. Paul did not expect Elijah to do self harm. She looks like an innocent soul, tired of wordly things. Her sleeping face look so tired and pale. Her hands were both scarred with hundreds of cuts, looked ferocious. Dr. Paul is now convinced that Elijah has definitely passed some traumatic events that has made her into this, having self injurious behaviour.

Rhys felt awful. He didn't know what to do. Elijah was lying on the bed, still sleeping but her hidden secret has unfolded before Dr. Paul and she will definitely inform everything to her family. Rhys didn't know anything but he felt informing her family about her self harming behavior will brought disaster. This might be the worst decision. He was confused, didn't know what to do. Still, he took the initiative to do something.

' Dr. Paul.... '

Rhys hesitated and Dr. Paul stopped in her step. She looked behind and saw Rhys with hesitation written all over his face. Dr. Paul said ' Just say what you want to say. '
' As her fiance, can I choose not to inform anything to her family ? '

Dr. Paul stared at him for a while then said ' You can but you have to make sure that her self harming behaviour better be cured soon otherwise this will destroy the life of both of you. '
Rhys nodded. Dr. Paul took a long breath and went out with a smile.

' Mom...mom...He...Helen, you know the incident of Elijah fainting has nothing to do with you or Evan, right ? You know right ? Both of You don't have anything to do with this. Elijah fainted just because she's weak in health. You got it ? '

Helen didn't answer, Rowena sighed. Evan was standing few meters away, leaning on the wall. Her tears were dried up and left stains at her reddish cheeks. Her bright red hair was messy. She didn't have any will to care about her hair now. Alex has gone to pay for the hospital bill.

Xavier called an hour ago. When he noticed instead of his mother, his sister received the call and that too in a different place he asked what happened. Rowena didn't hide anything and said what happened. Obviously she avoid saying that Evan was indirectly involved behind all of this. Elijah is dearer to both her uncles Adrian and Xavier. They love her the most among the young generation. 

Xavier felt agitated and instantly took the decision to inform everything to Adrian.  At the sudden news of Elijah's health crisis, Adrian booked the earliest flight of Virginia and got on the plane with his family. Xavier was istimated to come in Virginia after 5 days. But because of Elijah's bad health, he got on the the earliest flight with Adrian. Everybody was agitating over the fact of Elijah being so sick.

Helen didn't say anything, didn't look at Evan. She felt everything was her fault. She was the cause of everything.  Because of her, Elijah's anxiety amd panik attacks has returned again. Why it's that every time she met with Elijah,  she ended up hurting her. Has that become her habit ? Helen doesn't know.

Alex returned with a tensed face. Henry, Rowena's husband looked at him and asked ' How did you come back so fast ? Is everything alright ? '
' We don't have to pay. Elijah has health insurance and it has covered her all expenses. '

Helen looked at Alex.  Her eyes were empty like a shell. Elijah has health insurance so that if she gets sick, the insurance will cover all her expenses ? Does she think that if she is sick, there is no one to see her, to pay her hospital bills ? Are Drake's that pitiful ? Does she think she has no one to call her own ?

' Huh, she had a health insurance  ? What is that ? Does she think we won't pay her hospital bills if she is to get sick ? What a low mentality. Is she even my niece who I used to know ? ' Dominic said with a hint of irritation on his tone.
