SAFE HOME
The place they arrived at was an orphanage. Children were running here and there in the garden, giggling and playing with one another.
Rudraksh came after locking his car and grabbed her hand, " let's get inside."
She followed him quietly not knowing the purpose behind coming to this place. However, one of the children noticed them and chirped loudly,
" RUDRA BHAIYA!"
His voice grabbed the attention of other children as well and they came running to Rudraksh who smiled seeing them. His grip on her hand loosened and she took a step back when they all threw themselves on him, hugging him.
Rudraksh lifted the youngest girl among them in his arms and she pecked his cheek. Smile automatically made its way to Siya's lips, witnessing the adorable moment of Rudraksh with children.
" Rudra Bhaiya, Rudra bhaiya, today is my birthday."
One of the boys, around 10 years old, informed Rudraksh in a loud voice.
" Really? Happy birthday, boy. What do you want for a gift?"
Rudraksh asked.
" Remote control car!"
The boy exclaimed and Rudraksh chuckled before nodding yes. A girl, around 12 years old, noticed Siya and asked.
" Who is she, bhaiya?"
Rudraksh looked behind and smiled before saying to the children.
" She's is Siya-"
Before Rudraksh could complete his sentence, a boy interrupted him.
" ARE! I KNOW HER. I HAVE SEEN HER IN THE MOVIES."
Realising, Siya is a popular film star, all the children surrounded her and started asking her for autographs.
Rudraksh chuckled looking at Siya's reaction who was finding it difficult to interact with each of them.
" Kids, she ain't going anywhere. You can take her autograph later."
Children were delighted to know about Siya's stay here.
" Rudra Bhai," a girlish voice echoed and Siya looked at the new arrival.
" Kalpana," Rudraksh uttered and walked toward her.
He patted her head before asking, " how have you been?"
The girl, probably 20 years old, nodded her head.
" I am okay," she replied.
Rudraksh hummed and pointed at Siya, " can you take her inside? I'll be back in a while."
