Virendra stood up from the bed when the door opened. Rudraksh smiled at him.
" Sit, sit, uncle."
He sat down on the bed and Rudraksh put the plate of food before him. Virendra stared at the door for some good seconds before asking,
" Is it for me?"
Rudraksh sat down on the chair and nodded, " of course."
A smile formed on Virendra's lips and he prayed before beginning to eat. Rudraksh smiled, finding the man adorable at the way he was eating food as if it was running away.
He was probably dying of hunger.
" Can I uhm, get some more sabji? It was really delicious."
Virendra asked awkwardly and Rudraksh chuckled before nodding. He went out of the room and came back with a bowl of sabji and put it on his plate.
" Thankyou," Virendra said with a smile.
Rudraksh waited until he completed his food.
" Who was that man and woman?"
" My Bhai and bhabhi," Rudraksh replied.
" Oh," Virendra uttered and said further, " they looked angry."
Rudraksh shook his head, " they were just worried for their children. But bhabhi made Bhai understand. Don't worry. They are not bad."
Virendra's eyes glistened and he asked, " do they have children?"
Rudraksh hummed, " a son and a daughter who took birth just 2.5 months ago."
Virendra smiled then Rudraksh asked.
" Uncle, can you like, tell me anything you know related to your son so that I can help you find him? His age? Appearance? Anything?"
Virendra looked down at the mattress and replied with a deep sighed,
" It's such an unfortunate thing that I have seen my son only once."
" Huh?"
Virendra continued, " he was a few days old when I held him for the first time. He looked so fragile and beautiful. I wanted to take him away with me but they sent me back to that place."
Rudraksh leaned his back on the chair and asked, " uncle, which place you have been talking about?"
