A man is a statue of mistakes. He keeps doing foolish things, not thinking about consequences which would later affect his life in future. In his ego, he gets ready to commit bigger and bigger mistakes which he might know are wrong.

He sighed heavily and his trance of thoughts broke when his phone made a notification sound. Mobile screen flashed and her name displayed with her message.

It was Ronak and Aashish. Rudraksh shut his laptop close and looked at them as they sat on chairs opposite to him.
" Why did you call us? And you seem in trouble," Ronak said.
Rudraksh exhaled and ruffled his hair before saying, " I don't know what to do."
" Huh?" Aashish uttered.
He leaned his back on the chair, " about bet."
His voice was low and his friends could understand the emotion hidden beneath his voice. Silence spreads between them for 10 seconds which Ronak breaks.
" Did you tell her already?"
Rudraksh shook his head. Aashish leaned his body forward and put his elbows on the desk then said,
" Better. Forget it."
Rudraksh frowned, " what do you mean?"
Ronak agreed with Aashish, " forget that we made any stupid bet. Consider it as some of our childish moments. Accept her. We know you love her, man!"
" Yes," Aashish said.
Rudraksh shook his head again, " I can't start my relationship with her in the name of lies. She needs to know this because I don't want her to know about this from anywhere else."
