After the messy runway I had to attend the party   just to find a reason to forget about what happened.

"That was something"
I said to Selena trying to not make it awkward.

"Definitely but you killed there  girl,it was so confident of you."

"Thanks"I smiled.

"Who's that?"
Selena asked noticing me decline a call trying to avoid it.

"Oh it's no one"
I said to her but she didn't seem to believe me.

"Oh really,then why would they call you again."

"Must be an obsessed fan".
I said tryna to wave it off.

"Laila I'm not stupid,answer the phone,it could be important "

I sighed before answe the call knowing who it was.

"Hello"

"Omg Lai km so thankful you answered we've been trying to call you for a long time now."

"Hi Kai what's up"
I said in an annoyed tone

"Laila we haven't been on good terms and I wanna know why?"
She said sounding worried and desperate.

"What makes you think of that?"
I tried brushing her off.

"Laila Ive knew you since like forever

"I know for sure something is wrong, come on girl what's going on."

"Ugh fine then,I stopped talking to you because you didn't,well apperantly y'all guys didn't even try checking on me if I was fine,if I was still alive,nothing y'all just left like it was nobody's business and that offended me,I felt betrayed Kaila"

I said calming down with every word I spoke.

"Girl look we are so sorry we really wanted to but they kept restricting us from doing so   and told us something bad was going to happen to us if we didn't obey. We really would have went tho"

"Hey it's ok tho but just what did you mean when you said that someone kept on restricting you?"

I sounded confused.

"Eh I don't k own the security said so and that we would regret it so really"

Kaila said so casually.

"Hmm look I appreciate that,and all but for real I accept your apology and I'm sorry for ghosting y'all,forgive me?"

"Obviously,ok we'll see you at like 7pm?"

"Yeah,you going to the party?"

"Yes we are but only because we heard you were going and Jae will be there so we wanted to see what happens."

I blushed laughing it off."girl shut up"I dropped the  phone smiling,that was one thing..

35 minutes later...

The limo I was in randomly stopped out of nowhere,making a noise so the driver went to go and check on it.

"Miss smith sorry to inform you that we have a punched tire."

"Well how long will it take to fix it?",

I asked shrugging.

"It will take about an hour."
The driver said turning towards.

"Oh forget that I will just walk it's not that far either."

I hopped out of the car  holding my dress up while walking to the destination.

When I arrived there I entered looking pissed af but before I could even say anything else I heard many,many people scream and clap.

Then I saw someone approach me.

"Ayy I'm so happy you could make it "

Jae  said holding a wine glass walking coming towards me.

I noticed him fixing my hair while pulling my dress down.

"And then,what's going on here?"
He looked down at me while I smiled trying to distract him.

"Oh Uhm,car,brick, heels and uh wow there was just alot that happened."

I smiled nervously.

"I feel you"he said so nonchalantly eyeing me Up and down.

"Boy aren't you 17?"I asked him smiling.

"I am why you asking?"
He said blinking at me.

"Well with what you're drinking over there I'm just wondering."

I pointed to the wine glass he was holding.

"Nah girl this ain't no millionaire,billionaire wine."he said .

"Alcohol?"I shrugged.

He shook his head "Nah girl"he denies.

"Then what is it?"I asked.
"Grape juice girl."

"Wow"I said sarcastically.

"I'm not in the mood to get drunk today"he said looking in another direction.

"Suree"I said eyeing him up and down.

I felt someone hug me from behind and that's when I saw puffy spin me around turning me towards him.

"Oh hi puffy Wassup"I said looking at me.

"Nothing much just killing it you know?"he said bopping his head.

"Yeah I understand"I said softly. Trying to put my attention back to Jae.

"Well I see you got yourself a little someone to talk to so let me just leave you alone."
He said walking away awkwardly.

"He finally left"I breathed out rolling my eyes jokingly.

"You wanted him to leave?"he asked looking at me.

I nodded my head facing him now.
"Well  yeah basically."

"You are so mean"he playfully said.
I just laughed that off looking back at him noticing a change in his attitude.

"Are you ok?"I asked him generously.

"Yeah I am"he replied.

"Then what's with the face,the expression?"

I asked him.

"Oh nothing you know,just when I'm near a beautiful lady like you,I kinda lose all self respect."he glanced at me.

"Oh really?" I asked him and he nodded his head with a flirty smile on his face.

"You know your actually not that bad,I thought maybe because I'm used to pretty girls like you having bad attitudes and being petty and rude but your honestly not bad.

He said.

"How low do you think of me?"I joked.

As the night was about to end me and Jae were now kinda......

I guess in love state as we stared deeply into eachothers eyes before sharing a deep passionate kiss.

Minutes into the kiss suddenly we heard gunshots in the air as people ran trying to hide and protect themselves.

He covered me directing me somewhere and so I followed him to one of the rooms inside of the mansion.

He kissed me once again before looking if the everything was cleared out.
