As school finally let out, Y/n quickly packed his bag, eager to escape the confines of the classroom and head home. But just as he stepped toward the door, a firm grip pulled him back by the arm. He turned around, a bit annoyed, ready to confront whoever was interrupting his exit.
To his surprise, it was Billy. The irritation faded instantly, replaced by a mix of confusion and curiosity. "need something?" Y/n asked, tilting his head.
"Did you take any notes in geography?" Billy asked, his tone casual, but Y/n noticed the hint of urgency behind it
"Surprisingly, I did," Y/n replied, reaching into his backpack and pulling out the neatly organized notebook. He handed it over, watching as Billy flipped through the pages, clearly impressed. "You can just give it back to me tomorrow."
"Thanks, man. I owe you one," Billy said, tucking the notebook under his arm. His smile was genuine, and it made Y/N's heart race just a little. "Mind if I walk with you for a bit?"
"Sure," Y/N replied, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness as they headed toward the school entrance together. The hallways were bustling with students, but in that moment, it felt like they were in their own little world.
"So, how's your first day going?" Billy asked, glancing sideways at Y/n.
"Not too bad, honestly. Its chill" Y/N said, trying to keep his tone light. "What about you? How's it feel to be the most popular guy in school?"
Billy chuckled, a hint of self-deprecation in his laugh. "I wouldn't say that. Just trying to keep up with everything. You know how it is."
Y/n nodded, feeling the weight of the day lift a bit. "Yeah, I get it. And with all the craziness going on, it's a lot to handle."
Billy's expression shifted slightly, and for a moment, Y/n could see the tension beneath his cool exterior. "Yeah, it's been...intense. But I guess we all just have to stick together, right?"
"Right," Y/n replied, feeling a sense of camaraderie building between them. It was refreshing to have a real conversation instead of the usual small talk. "I mean, we can't let fear run our lives."
"Exactly," Billy said, a spark of enthusiasm returning to his voice. "Besides, who wouldn't want to hang out with the one and only Y/n L/n" He shot Y/n a teasing grin.
"Right, because I'm just a magnet for social events," Y/n replied, rolling his eyes. "Last time I checked, my idea of a good time involved late-night snacks and avoiding people."
"Hey, you say that like it's a bad thing," Billy countered, leaning against the wall with a smirk. "Some of us appreciate a good conspiracy theory and a solid game of 'how not to die in a horror movie.'"
"True," Y/n conceded with a chuckle. "But I'm more about surviving than spectating. If I'm going down, I'm taking you with me."
"Deal," Billy laughed, shoving Y/n playfully. "Just make sure you don't trip on your own sarcasm while we're at it."
"Wouldn't dream of it," Y/n replied, adjusting his backpack as they began to walk.
As they approached the school entrance, He felt a newfound sense of connection with Billy. They stepped outside into the fresh air, the tension of the day melting away.
Maybe this was the start of something interesting-not just a friendship, but a support system in a world that felt increasingly uncertain.
"Catch you tomorrow?" Y/n asked, pausing at the edge of the sidewalk.
"Sure. And thanks again for the notes," Billy said, giving a casual wave as he headed off in the opposite direction.
Y/n watched him go. It seemed like his first day wasn't just about surviving; it was about making unexpected connections.

You arrived at your place, tossing your backpack onto the floor and collapsing onto the couch like gravity had tripled the second you walked in.
A few minutes of blissful stillness passed before you groaned and rolled off the couch, dragging yourself up to tackle the dishes and make some dinner. Spaghetti-it was simple, quick, and exactly what you had the energy for.
After demolishing your creation like you hadn't eaten in days, you powered through the second round of dishes. With the kitchen conquered, you headed upstairs to shower off the day.
Once done, feeling clean and refreshed, you flopped into bed, grabbing the remote to flick through endless movie choices. Eventually, you landed on something that caught your eye and settled into your fortress of blankets, ready to lose yourself in the screen.
But then, the sudden realization hit you like a forgotten punchline-popcorn. How could you forget popcorn? You groaned, pausing the movie and grumbling to yourself about how dumb you felt.
Reluctantly, you untangled yourself from the comfort of your blankets and trudged downstairs to make it right.
As the microwave hummed, your thoughts drifted, but then the phone rang, cutting through the quiet. You frowned, grabbing it off the counter. "Hello?" you said into the phone, already wondering who'd be calling at this hour
