(adj.) Loyal and honest

[M/n] sat on the edge of the massive king bed that he and Lloyd shared, watching Lloyd who had yet to wake. The μικρό χταπόδι had rolled over into [M/n]'s spot nearly as soon as the older had left, leeching the warmth left behind. It'd only been about two weeks since they'd moved into this spacious apartment, provided by the Mayor, and [M/n] wondered if he would ever get tired of seeing Lloyd in the mornings. (little octopus)

Since accepting his feelings, [M/n] had been feeling quite sappy recently.

Glancing at the clock, he saw that they would need to be getting dressed for patrol soon.

"Λιακάδα," [M/n] murmured, reaching over to nudge his shoulder. Grumbling, Lloyd tucked himself into a little ball, pulling the blanket over his head. "So now you wish to run away from me, αγαπητέ μου."

"Not running, hiding," Lloyd corrected solemnly, earning a low snort.

"Uh huh."

Laying across the bed, [M/n] leaned against Lloyd's side, tugging the blanket down from his face. "It is time to wake up, we have to patrol soon."

"I don' wanna," Lloyd groaned, even as he stretched. He paused, staring back at [M/n] with squinty eyes, affection obvious. "You look good in the mornings."

"Thank you, λιακάδα, but flattery won't get you anywhere."

A louder groan made [M/n] chuckle. "Why do you have to be so timely."

"I thought you liked me for all of my qualities."

"Not the quality that has me waking up at dawn."

"Come, αγαπητέ μου, we made the agreement with the Mayor and we have much to do today," [M/n] reminded him.

"Too much," Lloyd grumbled, obediently climbing out from under the covers.

"Get dressed."

[M/n] left the bed, tugging off his nightshirt as he grabbed his laid out GI. He ignored the way Lloyd's eyes traced the lines of his tattoo and muscles of his shoulders and back.

He changed in the bathroom, not quite comfortable with stripping all of his clothes in front of Lloyd just yet. He came out to see Lloyd finally having dressed, though he hadn't pulled on the top of his GI, preferring to lounge around in the undershirt before pulling on the top.

"So, what've we got for breakfast?" Lloyd asked, stretching.

"What makes you think I am making breakfast?"

"Wow, so rude to me. First, you wake me up at dawn and now you won't even feed me."

"I apologize for being so cruel to you, λιακάδα, I shall endeavor to feed you before I send you out onto the streets," [M/n] deadpanned, keeping a perfectly straight face as he passed Lloyd.

Lloyd couldn't help but laugh, immediately following after [M/n] into the spacious kitchen. For breakfast, they both had leftovers from the night before, keeping it simple.

For patrol, [M/n] took the harbors edge, while Lloyd took the center of the city where Borg Industries had recently begun building where the fortress the Overlord had died upon stood.

While neither truly wished to be apart, they knew it would be better for publicity. Pressing a light kiss to Lloyd's brow, [M/n] let him leave first watching as Phoenix took off.
