3rd Pov

The sight of the vast ocean is brought into view, before sea spires give way to a large island where a village rests upon, the darkness of the night, illuminated by the shimmer of stars and glow of the moon, before one hug at the top of a hill is seen, within, we see a woman with auburn hair, sitting on the floor by a fireplace with a little boy with brown hair

Valka: she chuckles and tickles his neck, before he calms his laughters and she smiles "You know, Draken. Your father may think killing dragons is the only way, but not all dragons are bad..."

Draken: the small boy looks up at her in her lap "Really? But papa says dragons steal our food and hurt our people." Valka cups his cheek

Valka: she sighs, her faces contorting into a look of disdain and slight sadness "That may be true, but they are only following their instincts, my boy. They aren't stupid, or mindless beasts like your father may think." Draken nods

Draken: tilts his head "Do you like dragons, mommy?"

Valka: smile softly and kisses his forehead "Well, like may be a strong word, but I don't blame them, or think we should kill them..." she stares into the fire, before shaking her thoughts and looking back down to him "But you, my son...can believe whatever you want to. Never let anyone change how you think, okay?"

Draken: nods with a wide smile "I promise." He hears a noise and looks over to the carved crib and runs over "Hiccup's up!"

Valka: she laughs and follows him "Look at you, being a good big brother." She picks up Draken ad holds him on her hip while they look in the crib at the infant "Your brother and you look a lot alike, you know?"

Draken: tilts his head "No he doesn't, he looks like a potato." Valka laughs heartily

Valka: sighs in content "Maybe now, but one day, you will never be able to mistake him. Because you're brothers, there's no stronger bond other than siblings." She hears the door to the hut open as the large burly man who is her husband enters

Draken: smiles widely "Papa!" He reaches out as Valka puts him down and he runs over, Stoick chuckles heartily and scoops him up

Stoick: "There's my little warrior!" Rubs his thumb on Draken's cheek "Why're you so riled up so late in the eve?" Smiles "Thinking about dragon slaying, Draken Slayer?" He laughs loudly

Draken: smiles and shakes his head, speaking proudly "Mommy said I don't need to kill dragons, she said they aren't that bad." Stoick pauses and sighs

Stoick: puts him down and looks to Valka who doesn't want to face him "Why are you filling his head with this...this madness?"

Valka: she spoke over her shoulder while looking into hiccups crib "I'm not. I just told him that he has a choice an should live his life how he wants to live it. Not being...bred to kill animals for simply doing what they need to survive."

Stoick: frowns "So, what? We raise him to let the beasts eat his friends and family, to kill his people till there's none of us left?" Draken looks down, clutching the hem of his shirt, he hated it when they argued "This dragon-loving nonsense must come to an end, Valka."

Valka: turns "It's not nonsense." She says firmly with a frown, wiping a tear that shed from the corner of her eye "All creatures deserve to live. If we kill them, we're no better." Stoick is about to shout, but a loud crash is heard and the villagers let out calls, screaming dragon "Stoick?"
