Damian-

Well go be angry outside my fucking room!"

"Guys, respectfully, I know it's the morning and the testosterone is pumping but seriously, shut up." My sister walked into the room, Her dark black hair tied into a ponytail. She yawned and stretched and I could tell we had woken her up. "Sorry" Me and Zidann said together.

"It's fine, so how's the wife-" She went to sit on his bed but I had to stop her. "Yeah, salty pussy has been on there don't know if you wanna sit there." She instantly jumped back and gave Zidann the dirtiest look.

Even though she was only seventeen Bella had seen more than enough for me to be able to talk like this in front of her. "Your so fucking nasty Zidann." He just rolled his eyes and didn't bother to respond.

"I don't know who my fucking wife is"

"It's fine, even if she is ugly you're gonna kill her anyways." My brother chimed in.

"But what if he can't for some reason, it's a foolproof plan but there's no way her or her family would have signed a contract so stupidly."

"Exactly, I'm not stupid enough to believe that there's no way that this could go wrong. I don't want to be stuck with an ugly bitch for the rest of my life." I ran my fingers through my hair, irritated with the life I was currently living in.

"It's okay, if push comes to shove you can just cheat on her in private."

"Easier said than done." It wasn't just that I would be cheating, it's the principle of it all. Neither me nor my people were the most conservative people in the world, we had no issues doing whatever we wanted to do with our dicks, until marriage. It's just one of those things you have to accept, don't get me wrong none of it all made sense, we could kill but cheating was where the line was drawn? It was silly but everyone else listened so it might as well be perfectly factual. If you can't be loyal to your wife how could you be loyal to us. That's what my dad used to say to me growing up, before he got what he wanted from my mother and became an absolute prick.

His nasty ways made the men begin to detest him, not work as hard. It took me moving oceans and fucking planets to build that trust up again and even now, it was all for fucking nothing because this was what they were looking at. My new fucking marriage.

"Where is the bitch."

"See, she arrived about 5 minutes ago now," Bella replied.

"What? why the fuck didn't you tell me.?" God dammit everyone in this house was irritating me today.

ALEXIA-

Ugh, how long will I have to wait. I didn't have the time for this today, well I mean I did but I didn't want to. I was about to be married to the fucker on paper and he wasn't even considerate enough to be on time, what an asshole.

"How long will I have to wait?"

"I don't know Miss Thorne."

"I'm not a fucking Thorne yet stop calling me that!" This was the third time he had done this and I swear to god I could see him smirking in the front seat. Fuck! I turned to the window, attempting to go back to daydreaming to avoid this nightmare. It didn't work because all I could see out of the left window was the Thorne estate. It was a mega mansion that had to of spanned over 50,000 square feet. I mean what a ridiculous size. Who needs a house that big anyway.

Oh, the things you do for safety. I have to give it to her though, she made sure I would always be safe if anything went wrong. The driver focused his attention on whatever he was hearing in his earpiece, his attention no longer on the scenery. "Miss Thorne, you may enter the house now. I will walk you in." Well great, not only was I being referred to as a name I didn't even fucking have yet, but now I'm a baby who needs to be walked to the bloody door that was right there. "I'm not a child, I'll walk myself."

"And I shall follow you." I gave him the meanest look my face could create before I stepped out of the car. I followed the pathway laid out in between the field that surrounded the estate, it was all so neat and tidy, so pristine and perfect it made me feel like a runt inside all this glory. Quite ironic because it really didn't reflect the Chaos that was the Thorne family. Not everything was as it seemed.

The driver opened the door with a key fob, it made me wonder if he was just a driver or someone more meaningful to the family. But looking at the state of their empire I wouldn't be surprised if they had a random doing this job.

When I walked in I was introduced to even more grandness, high ceilings with prestigious flooring made this house

When I walked in, a sense of awe washed over me as I was met with an even more stunning displays of grandeur. The high ceilings soared above me, giving the space a majestic air. The prestigious flooring, made of exquisite marble with intricate patterns, emphasised the luxurious feel of the house. It felt as though I had stepped into a fucking palace. Every detail designed to exude sophistication and power.

The hallway was long and wide, could've housed three people. To the left was an open space kitchen that looked as though it was made for a chef and I'm guessing one of their many lounge rooms to the right. "Wait here." The driver signalled to the couch before walking off to meet who I assumed was the man himself.

Damian.

From what I know of him his father had run the place practically to the fucking ground before he had the chance to take over. His dad abused his mother until she was forced to leave but she loved her children. She came from a fucked up family which made the fact that she fell face first into another one way less surprising. When abuse is all you know, it's hard to accept or see anything else. It was the reason she was able to make such a deal with me, our families were old friends once upon a time, apparently she always knew that I had to marry her son. Said whether I loved or despised him a a heart like mine, although rather cold would keep him safe, keep the family safe.

I needed protection and he needed all that I had made for myself. But he needed me more than I needed him, and I wasn't ready to give up what I had made so easily.

"Hey." I heard a shaky voice from the corner of the hallway wall, a black haired girl was peeking past it. From what I knew I was guessing that was his sister, she didn't look a day over eighteen and she looked exactly like him. She carried the same dark features as the ready of the family from her dark, silky jet black hair to her thick arched eyebrows and glossy pale skin. She probably came down here to see what I looked like, I couldn't blame her I would be curious too. "Hey, what's your name?" I wanted to be nice, at least at first. No one had been an asshole to me yet but I was sure that was coming, especially after I didn't give them what they wanted. But she didn't do anything after all. "Bella, what's yours?" She was now no longer hiding and facing me full on from behind the couch. She was very intrigued by me and I wondered why, it seemed to go deeper than just a contract. I mean after all, we all knew he had no plans to keep me alive after he got what he needed.

I didn't know if they knew that I knew but she definitely did. I doubt that they'd let her form a connection with someone who was gonna die anyway, unless he was planning to deceive her too. But that would just be plain mean. Plus, unless they had some sort of agenda about women remaining innocent there was really no need to coddle the girl, she had to of seen something.
