Horror stared at the ceiling light above his head. It was so bright in here, brighter than Horror could have ever been comfortable with. It was just so bright, and..he didn't know what he was thinking about anymore. Everything was so blurry. He believed he had been captured by the Star Sanses, but he hadn't seen them.

He hadn't seen anyone.

He was in a small white room with a mattress on the floor and a light on the ceiling, and the door had never been opened, as he recalled. There were no windows, and the walls themselves were blank. There was no way to escape; Horror believed he had tried several times before. He didn't really know why he was here, but he knew one thing: he couldn't let himself fall asleep. His memory had failed him as to the reason why, but his instincts screamed at him to stay awake; he knew that something bad would happen if he let himself drift off. But..he had been awake for a while by now - possibly days. He was so, so tired, and his body begged him to just lie down and give in, but he couldn't. Everything in him pushed him to stay up for just a little longer, and he wouldn't give in..yet.

His staring was interrupted by the sound of plastic sliding across flooring, and he looked over to the floor by the door, finding a small bento box - lunch. Or..whatever time of day it was. Whoever was keeping him here (the Stars, right?) didn't want him to starve, at least, and Horror could appreciate that; the food helped to keep him awake, too. He slowly made his way over to the plastic box, not bothering to move anywhere else before opening it and beginning to eat the food that he had been provided. It wasn't a lot, but it was enough to keep him going a little while longer, and that was all he needed.

Nightmare should have been coming for him soon, right? The others were probably forming an escape plan right now; Horror knew that the rest of the gang would grow weary of takeout soon enough and want Horror's cooking back  as soon as possible. They loved him for other reasons, too, he knew, but they were most verbal about the food, and Horror didn't mind; he was rather verbal when it came to food, too.

He liked to think so, anyway.

When Horror finished his meal, he returned to his spot in the center of the room, and he remained awake, ignoring the yawns that left his mouth every so often. His instincts told him to stay awake, and he would obey them. His instincts hardly ever let him down, after all; out of all his senses, they were the ones that kept him safe the most. He just had to stay awake for a little while longer, and the others would come for him as soon as they were able.

Just a little longer..
