Isn't it interesting how both your mothers who are best friends, want their children to be together in the future? I'm surprised how they keep this up every year.

"Oh Sunoo! Can't you just pop out the question already?" A woman nudges her son

"Ah mom! Ew! I'm 21 years old! " He said

"Age doesn't matter at this point! We tried arranging the two of you since you were 12!" She smiled

The mother makes a disappointed look and smiles. She takes the collar of his coat and flattens it.

"Now what are you doing?" He asks

"You have to look presentable for the Parks! With that, maybe Y/n would finally fall in love with you."  She said and Sunoo rolls his eyes

"Mom, can we go now?" A boy's voice asks and it was Sunoo's younger brother

"Okayyy, step out of the car." She said and nods

Big doors open for the Kims as they fill the air with their presence.

The crowd greets them with a smile and gives them a path to walk through.

"Ohh! It's the Kims!" One whispered

"I heard Mrs. Kim's son is gonna marry the youngest of the Park family." Another one whispered back

Sunoo hears them and rolls his eyes then lets out a sigh.

"Let's go on with this.." Sunoo mumbled

"Mom, can you stop forcing me to do things you want?" I complain

My mother brings two pairs of earrings and compares one from the other.

"This isn't for me, sweetie. It's for you." She said

"You mean, what's best for me is what you want?" I say sarcastically

"Yes." She smiled

She finally chooses one pair and puts them on both my ears. She then turns me to the mirror and put her hands on my shoulders.

"Ahh..my daughter's gonna be a Kim! Can't wait to see you walk down the aisle."

"Woah! Woah! I'm not marrying him." I said

"Cause I think she wants to marry her pillow! Oh! Marry me prince pillow! I want to sleep all day with you!" A guy's voice pops out

"Sunghoon, don't be like that to your sister. You're lucky enough that I didn't choose you to be in her position." Mother said and he makes a face at me

My younger sister walks closer to me and brings me a flower from the garden.

"Awee! what's this, Lila?" I ask her

"A gift for you and Mr. Kim." She said

My mom smiles and rushes both my siblings out.

"Now, go get ready cause we're about to head out soon." She kisses my forehead and heads out

I walk to the door that leads to the event and I take a peek. I see hundreds of people gathered around in elegant dresses and suits.
