You and Jay used to be playmates since you were 5 until Jay and his family decided to go back to America.

After 19 years without him, you tend to forget every memory of him. It's like he never existed.

Not until that one call from Mrs. Park,

"Hello?" Your mom picked up the phone

"Oh hey! How are you??" She gasped with wide eyes as you sat there watching her while eating cereal

"I'm doing great here, actually. My daughter's off to college."

"What?? He is??" Your mother jumped almost dropping her phone

"That's great news! I'm sure she'd be welcoming him with open arms."

Your mother looks at you with the widest smile she could possibly do making you wonder what's going on.

"Okay! We'll see him tomorrow!"

Your mother ends the call and looks at you.

"Honey?"

"Yeah?" You reply with your mouth full

"Didn't you say you needed a roommate to share at the apartment?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Well, we have finally got you one!!" She skipped excitingly like how a little would get a prize from a claw machine.

"Oh okay." You said not giving a care

You felt like it was just your mom's niece or somebody's daughter would be your roommate not until you went to the airport,

"Remember Aunt Park's son?" Your mom asked as you both waited at the gates

"Who? Wait- Son??"

"Y'know, that little boy who used to be your playmate?"

"And that would be?-"

"Him!"

A tall guy comes out with a luggage in his hand looking for something around the area.

Your mother waved her hand at him,

You tried to stop thinking she had the wrong guy but that guy went closer and closer.

Your mom gave a warm welcome hug and cupped his cheeks.

"Seongi-yahh! It's been so longg!! You look amazing! You've gotten so tall!!" She said

"It's nice to see you again, Aunt L/n!"

"Oh! You remember Y/n, right?" She said and the guy looks at you with wide eyes

"Y/n?"

"Hi? U are seongi?"

"Call me Jay.." he said to the both of them

"Oh you keep on forgetting a lot of things lately! Have some manners!" Your mother slapped your shoulder

"Come on boy! We have some catching up to do! You look famished, would you like something to eat??"

"I could eat.."

"Well that's great news! I have lots of dishes dying to wait for you try!"

Jay couldn't stop glancing at you from time to time as your mother kept on dragging his giant figure out the airport.

"You're finished, darling?" Your mom asked him

"Uhm yes..I should wash this-" he said about to take his plate to the sink
