I walk downstairs from my bedroom to find Thor getting pancakes made for breakfast. I'm dressed in a three quarter length dress with lemons printed on it and a purple overall skirt over it with hearts on it, my brown hair unbound.

"Good morning, Nova," Thor greets me with a warm smile as he sets a plate of pancakes on the table with maple syrup for me. "I thought I'd get breakfast sorted."
"Thank you, Thor," I reply with my own smile and immediately dig in. I close my eyes and hum in content. Thor smiles before getting his own pancakes. He sits down next to me and we eat breakfast while we chat.
Afterwards, Thor insists on doing the dishes and I watch from the table, my cheek in my hand. When he finishes, I say, straightening, "I'm going to feed the horses and let them out."
"May I join you?" Thor asks. I nod my head and he follows me to the big barn where I take Mocha, the bay mare, Blackjack (or Jack for short) the black one, and Red, the chestnut one, out to the paddock with Thor's help before he takes two slabs of hay for two of the horses and I take one for the third out to them.
We throw them over the fence and lean on it as we watch the horses eat.
"I've contacted Fury last night, about the attack," Thor tells me and I glance at him. "He says he'll get Stark and the others to back us up if we need it."
"I'm sorry for dragging you into this," I say with a sigh. "I just didn't know when or if he'd ever show his face again."
Thor cups my cheek as he murmurs, "Don't apologise, Nova. He was bound to show up eventually."
We then lean in and kiss deeply a few times before pulling back. I lean my head on his shoulder as we watch Blackjack, Red and Nova for awhile longer before I have some errands to do, Thor insisting on coming with me in case The Lightning Man does show up again.

Thor helps me with my errands before we finish up at home and have lunch. Then I decide to go visit Jane at her lab for the rest of the day. She's as busy as always.
