The Spatial Goddess (Thor X OC)

Chapter 18

Nova's P. O. V:

I was riding Blackjack and Katie was riding Mocha in the paddock the next morning, Thor watching from the fence. Katie has been having riding lessons with me and she gets along well with Mocha.

They jump over a cross rail and I follow with the black Thoroughbred.

We go over a vertical and canter around the arena.

We canter on. She sails over the cross rail and vertical again and I take Jack for another round before we decide to cool them off by walking them.

"Are you going to ride Red today as well?" Katie asks as we walk in a circle opposite each other.

"I think I might," I decide. "But I'll take an hour break first."

"Are you sure it's okay for you to be riding straight after getting out of the hospital?" Katie asks in concern.

"Of course it is!" I wave my hand dismissively. "Besides, they do need exercise. I once rode and jumped with a sprained ankle after having fallen off Jack a few days before."

"Right, and it worsened your injury and the doctor was mad," Katie recalls before we burst into laughter.

We soon dismount and Katie and I lead the horses to the tie up rail. We untack and groom them before putting them in the second paddock.

We then hang out for awhile before I hear the sound of crackling lightning.

With furrowed brows, I ask my boyfriend, "Is that you?"

"No," He says, looking just as confused. We jump to our feet upon seeing The Lightning Man appear before us.

"It's him," I growl out as I make multi coloured orbs appear around my hands. "Katie, go inside the house until this fight is over."

She nods and does what I say.

The Lightning Man shoots a bolt of electricity at us but I grab Thor and teleport us away. I switch places with the enemy and hear him grunt in pain ashes hit with his own technique.

"I will kill you," The dark haired man threatens. I'm about to attack him but Thor was already marching forwards, a dark expression on his features.

"You'll have to go through me first!" He then thrusts Moljnir forwards and shoots Lightning back at The Lightning Man. He dodges and fires back but Thor flies up, out of the way.

Thor comes down towards the enemy but he narrowly dodges as Thor slams the hammer into the ground, creating a huge crater.

I summon the orbs once again before I run at my friends' killer. I grunt as I swing my fists at him but he dances away from me.

The Lightning Man swings his fist and punches me in the gut, causing my eyes to bulge as I hunch over in pain.

I barely dodge a kick and shoot beam of spatial energy from my hands that hits his shoulder, causing him to stagger. I then run at him and swing my fists, managing to land a couple of hits against his stomach.

Thor shoots lightning from his hammer that hits our opponent in the side, knocking him back. I wrap orbs around his ankles before dragging the tall man along the ground, then I throw him back first into the ground, hard.

I then hold out my hand and laugh madly as I make explosions strike The Lightning Man.

"Did you really think that you could get away with killing my friend all those years ago, and live to speak of it?! Well, you thought wrong!" I scream, continue to pelt him with explosions, letting out all my anger I'd kept in all these years.
