A large figure walks down the road as she thinks to herself, listening to music that eventually makes her sad. At least it was calming. Besides, the moon was there, it's like an old friend keeping her company in her time of need. It has been a difficult road moving to a new state entirely for Mia Ellswood, resettling and making new friends wasn't easy when the ones she did make were four states away. She could handle it education wise her mental health however hasn't been really the best but even so she shakes it off so she could be her happy self for her eight year old sibling. Mia's dad works a lot so they hardly see him unless it's a holiday card or a call and the mother works a solid twelve to six. Though her mother could easily get a babysitter, the family is old school minus the huge accomplishments of large tech companies around the city and doesn't allow technology that much in the house. The cold air tickled her nose as she turned the corner and looked up at the huge sign advertising the Easter egg hunt in a few weeks which she takes her sibling to every year. "If dad could take the day off? PFFT okay mom, the only way that'll happen is if pigs suddenly had the method of flying." she mocked her mom's words as she took off her headphones and looked into the sky.
The moon was warm somehow, was that even a phenomenon that could happen? She thought long and hard about it before sighing and pinching her nose. Mia knew she had to go home eventually but didn't really want to deal with the constant pressure she's been under but she also knew that her sibling needed her so with that Mia slowly made her way home through the scenic route.
