Laughter. The first thing Mia heard as she struggled to wake up. “Some dream I had” she chuckled to herself but as her vision became less blurry let's just say they were in fact not home at all. A small fireplace stood as colors of red and white surrounded her and a tapestry with tons of details. Mia looked around for her sister. “ANNE? ANNE!!”
The oldest started to panic while walking. A sharp pain instantly hit her neck and bandaged waist. She decided to take it slow for now, but with her being in such an unsafe location it would be probably best to leave as quickly as possible. Mia couldn't find her way around though, it was an absolute maze wherever she looked. Though turning around helped as Anne jumped up and down pointing at something. She took a deep breath before approaching her.
"What is it that you wanted to show me?” She asked. Her sister's eyes glowed even more with wonder as she jumped up and down even more. “THE EASTER BUNNY IS RIGHT BEHIND YOU” Anne usually got really loud when she's excited about something sure but there's no way that- the fluttering of wings soon caught Anne's attention as Mia completely froze in place while backing up even more, putting her hand on her sister to shield her before eventually bumping into something rather fuzzy. Though when she turned around Mia couldn't see anything. “This is so weird,” the oldest said, sighing as she was this close to pulling her hair out trying to make sense of everything before deciding to just play along with her sister again, until they'd found a way out that is.
She knelt down to her sister and picked her up, spinning her around to where she spotted the so-called Easter Bunny. Anne laughed as she petted the invisible figure before a small snowflake flew by, aiding Mia as it glistened against her nose. Her eyes soon dilated. There stood a small golden man and what should be a gigantic rabbit, about six foot one.
A hummingbird human hybrid soon fluttered around talking to smaller versions of herself about different locations before she turned around with the biggest grin on her face.
And finally a gigantic Russian man wearing red littered with tattoos on his arms looked from across the room thinking to himself and brushing his beard.
The golden man made an illusion of a hat as he tipped it to the siblings as Mia still stood in complete and utter shock, even when putting her sibling down. That's when her sister decided to break the ice.
“YOUR REALLY PRETTY MISS!!” She said smiling as the hybrid began to zip closer examining her ... .teeth? Mia had to think logically. This was maybe a dream of sorts, or she could be in a coma. The last thing she remembers is falling asleep so maybe they've been kidnapped by strange alien creatures?
Mia seemed to get more questions than answers as a boy, hair white as a blizzard stood on a large wooden staff tilted his head in curiosity. Everyone seemed to take interest in the youngest as Mia still tried searching for a way out before turning to the small golden man. “Any chance you might know the way out of here?” She asked. No luck as sand illusions of different things appeared above his head making Mia even more confused and overwhelmed.
She walked back and forth continuously as everyone kept staring with no words to be said. Mia felt as if she was slowly losing her mind even more. There has to be a logical explanation for this but maybe she should just give up. She did say she'd play along earlier but things feel almost too real to even do so. She patted herself looking for something before taking out a small notebook and pencil. The large kangaroo in the corner raised an eyebrow at the oldest. “So, what exactly are you? I mean you all clearly aren't human, except for that guy over there and clearly it doesn't seem as if me and my sister got into a horrible accident so what gives?” It seemed she wanted answers immediately. Everyone's heads turned to the big guy in the room with the tattoos.
“What exactly ARE WE? HA YOU ARE VERY FUNNY FOR YOUR AGE!!” He chuckled. Mia wrote down that he was indeed; very russian. He then continued. “We are GUARDIANS, that over there is Jack, very much troublemaker” Mia looked at the boy before he lifted his head up and smiled at her. “And you've obviously met tooth yes?” the large hummingbird lady fluttered towards Mia as she proceeded to mess with her canine's. “TOOTH, FINGERS OUT OF MOUTH- AGAIN” she stopped. Soon realizing what she was doing and giggled. “Sorry, I think this ones been eating too much candy, her sister's on the other hand are JUST GROWING IN!” her wings fluttered more with excitement as she buzzed around Mia before giving her an unexpected hug.
“Thank you” she said before attending to Anne, who was amazed and couldn't stand still in the slightest. The big guy pointed to the smallest one in the room other than the elves and Mia's sister. “This is Sandy, always very expressive, aren't you Sandy?” The small man laughed but no words came out, just sand illusions of hahas.
Mia began to get more comfortable as she wrote down more notes, doodling with each one. Interested in what all this meant. Clearly not watching where she was going she bumped into the familiar furry figure yet again as it looked down at her with dark emerald green eyes with its arms crossed. “And that is bunny, thee uhhh kangaroo!!” Mia chuckled at the comment before quickly covering her mouth as Anne joined her sister. “What I told ya about calling me that mate? Look, now it's getting to everyone!!” The large rabbit put down his egg and looked at both of them, mainly the oldest as he smirked.
"Short stacks you both are” Mia rolled her eyes at the comment before walking closer and picking up her sister. Anne giggled immensely as both of her hands cuddled his nose as it started twitching. Mia looked up at him and smirked. “So this is the Easter Bunny you've been obsessed about, all I see here though is a gigantic fluff ball” she commented putting her down. “HA IS VERY FUNNY, FLUFF OF BALL” The Big guy nudged Sandy as hard as possible waking him up as he awkwardly smiled too. Mia then pointed at the tall Russian man. “And I'm going to assume your Santa Claus? I mean it's very obvious” he laughed very hard of course, jolly but still a bit intimidating before Mia turned to face everyone.
“Okay since introductions are all out of the way, why exactly have we been kidnapped?” her tone soon became very serious and abrupt. The others all turned to North for the same explanation but for some strange reason decided to stay quiet.
