Everyone stood silent waiting for anything to be said from North. Though the bunny clearly wasn't having it at all. “Look mate we can't just stand around ere like a bunch of ducks- what in the bloody hell is going on?!!” North looked at Bunnymund and smiled as he pointed at the moon above. “Man in moon obviously has something to say, don't be such a rude bunny.” The comment made him sigh as he soon noticed tooth smile greatly, it seems that Manny has taken into account each guardian's strides with this new era but unfortunately the time is scarce to rest as it seems as pitch has indeed returned.
The moon's light reflected off the large crystal and showed a figure of him, the boogeyman, beaten and bruised from his own nightmares being turned against him so long ago but his eyes still being fueled by anger. “Pitch?” Jack asked the moon from above as he held his stick in both of his hands. “Why would he be back all of a sudden? What does he want? Oh my gosh….Will the children be safe? What if he-” Tooth wondered so much as she held her arms backing away as her anxiety only got worse before she coughed up feathers. Jack put his hand on her shoulder as he was deeply worried for his friend as he then looked towards North.
The crystal soon changed everything about the figure to show a small girl and what looked like to be her older sibling, who somehow still believed in the Boogeyman. One of the guardians quickly noticed that face quite well and scoffed. “Rowdy one around Easter but what does she have to do with any of this? NO NO DON'T TELL ME-SHE GONNA BE A GUARDIAN?” North looked towards the moon and then back at him as he laughed so hard it's as if he and Manny were both laughing at Bunny's idiotic question before North calmed himself. Tooth tried her best to fly closer to the image and recognize that specific face as Jack followed. “Do you remember something?” Tooth nodded thinking about a time where Mia made a tiny inn for her fairies the first time Anne lost a tooth. “She cares greatly for her sister. That's why she partially believes. She'd probably be a great guardian if it ever came to that.”
Looking back at the others, Bunny leaned in the corner still painting his egg, still a little annoyed over being laughed at earlier before Sandy quickly joined him, curious what pattern he was painting next. “I don't know if I can handle another attack on the palace” Tooth mentioned, her wings lowering down as she sank into the floor. Tooth exhausted herself day by day into her work, never even noticing that worrying was getting herself sick. Sandy noticed this and went over to help tooth up and get her something to drink.
Jack continually walked slowly and looked at Manny for answers before realizing that he suddenly stopped speaking. Gently facepalming himself before looking at North again. “He sure is mysterious isn't he?” Jack asked, holding his stick while chuckling to himself as North smiled. “He is man in moon, always mysterious.!!” Suddenly fog proceeded to fill the room before a voice was heard. Male, ominous, and definitely not here to be chummy. Everyone looked up to see a hooded figure on top of the globe. Jack gripped his staff as North had two yetis on his side, swords at the ready. Bunny was about to take out an egg grenade before the figure appeared behind him.
“With you being the last pooka it's only fitting that you're the first one to lose your touch” Bunny turned around and threw a couple of egg grenades just as the shadow disappeared again. Tooth's eyes filled with fear as a couple of baby tooths flew in front of her ready to fight.
Sandman and the rest of the guardians watched as the shadow that appeared back on the globe away from the potential power the guardians would hold over him. Though at this point they've just gotten much- much weaker. “Awww you poor little fairy- trying her hardest to be believed in. I have an idea: why DON'T WE CLAP IF WE BELIEVE!! But let's not forget the truth of the matter, their parents do it for them now, just like Christmas, Easter and you." The figure then proceeded to take off his hoodie to reveal himself as the one and only Boogeyman.
