North stood his ground, as with all the guardians trying to figure out why pitch was here before his internal gut suddenly told him exactly what it was. Pitch looked before his old friend above and then at his recent manifestation.
“Ugh, be grateful I'm not here for any of you ... .yet that is- YET. I have business I must attend to before anything. For I must welcome our new guest into my humble abode” Jack immediately shot a beam of ice at pitch as he quickly dodged it. Bunny jumped off the walls and the duo tried to sneak attack from behind as the Boogeyman grabbed Jack by the leg and threw him hard against the wall. Tooth gasped, holding a bundle of feathers near her chest wondering if this was all just a dream.“You may have bested me once GUARDIANS BUT HEED MY WORDS….I, THE NIGHTMARE KING would not HESITATE to KILL ANY OF YOU WHERE YOU STAND- EVEN IF YOUR IMMORTAL”
Specifically looking at Sandy while yelling, the Boogeyman then disappeared back into the comfort of the shadows just after North threw both of his swords. A burst of wind came from the windows revealing tooth zipping past. North groaned in frustration at pitch getting away again before giving bunnymund a sudden task “Tooth is trying to race pitch to the children, bunny you are fast you can get there sooner, we get small one to safety now” bunny nodded, being relieved for a straight second that meant no ride in the sleigh before tapping his paw on the ground two times, opening up a hole as he, North and two yetis beside him, and Sandman all jumped in along with Jack.
