Mia turned slowly and raised an eyebrow to her sister while brushing her teeth. “So the Easter Bunny is…..Australian?” She wanted to howl in laughter from that everytime it was mentioned but tried to keep her composure. Anne nodded and said he talked funny before remembering something important and dashed into her room again. Mia rolled her eyes as she spit out the toothpaste and tried to imagine a tall rabbit with an Australian accent. She still wanted to die laughing when suddenly Anne called for her to come see what she's found. Mia finished getting ready, wearing a simple shirt with a single butterfly and jeans along with different colored bracelets to contrast with her dark hazelnut brown hair and straightening it out before putting it in a ponytail.

Anne called her again and the oldest walked into the room that they shared as her sibling found an Easter egg with really detailed painting on it and desperately wanted to show Mia. “Huh, not any egg I've seen before. Usually the egg hunts we go to have plastic ones ain't that right Anne?” The sibling nodded but quickly corrected her sister.
“BUT THIS ONE'S SPECIAL!!” she whined holding it gently in her arms. Mia chuckled before rustling Anne's hair, probably shouldn't have done that, mom would kill her, but even so it was impressive to see her sister so full of life at this time of year. Dad leaving was the most of their problems before mom decided to move again. Mia quickly brushed the thought of those days out of her mind before crouching and looking at her sister.

“Did the Easter Bunny give you that?” She asked. Anne nodded, holding it as tight as possible. So tight it looked like she might explode from excitement. Mia chuckled before playing along with Anne, not noticing someone or something looking at her through the west window. “Must be REALLY special then, so special I just don't think you'd want my famous chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.” Mia said picking up and folding clothes and grinning as all heck before her siblings eyes dilated so hard she shot out of bed and straight downstairs just like a rocket. Mia felt satisfied with that comment for some reason, as if she almost believed that the Easter Bunny was real.
