Fulfilling Zianna's Bucket List. {Part One}.

It has been a week since Zianna joined her office after the incident at her brother's nikkah ceremony. Both her brother and her boss would constantly bring her stuff.

Zianna would tell them that if she needed things, she would let them know but they were too stubborn to listen to her.

"Zianna, it is time for lunch. And you cant say no to me as I am your boss," Azhar tells her using his position against her.

"But Sir, there's still more than thirty minutes left..."

"Zia, I am your boss and I say you...we need to have lunch. We need to have lunch," he said interrupting her. Azhar returned to his office to gather his things before asking Zianna if she was ready to leave.

This has become their routine ever since she came back to work. Azhar has never let her miss a single meal while at the office, and Zoya always packs a break for Zianna.

She had no choice but to follow him because once Zianna tried to ask Khalid for help, all he got was a glare from his nephew making him stop talking.

"But first we need to stop somewhere," Azhar says, as they get off the elevator. "I need to go and pick up something, " he added, making Zianna nod.

They got into his car and Azhar drove to their first destination. Azhar looked at Zianna who was looking out of the car window smiling as it started to rain.

He knew that one of the things she wanted to do was dance in the rain with someone who loved her and who she loved.

Flashback.

Azhar and Tayyal were discussing how to fulfil Zianna's bucket lists. They each had the paper in front of them while they were each holding a pen and paper trying to see what they could do first in the list. Azhar was holding Zianna's bucket list, he knew that he had to fulfil it for her with Tayyal's help but some things were for him to do.

They decided to split the list into two parts. The first part was for Tayyal as he could do most of the things and the second one was for Azhar as he was the one who was capable of taking her anywhere she needed to go.

Learn how to drive a car {I will need more than courage for this one}

Get a cat. {A black and white tuxedo cat with bright green eyes. In shaa Allah}. I will need a name for him/her.

Dance in the rain with someone that I love and loves me back {My husband, In shaa Allah}.

Ride a horse {Goodluck to this one}

Ride a camel {Re-thinking about this one}

To get married {In shaa Alla}

To have kids {In shaa Allah}

"I could fulfil most of these but I know that some would be difficult for us. But first I need to call the animal shelter to find out if they have the cat she described here, In shaa Allah, they will have it," Azhar tells Tayyal who nods.

After the phone call, Azhar gave Tayyal the great news that there was a kitten there with the exact description written on Zianna's list.

"I guess you will take her there and get the kitten, right?" Tayyal asked.

"Yes, and then I would need to get the kitten whatever it needs..."

"No need fo that. Zoya wants to do this for her. I think she bought everything for the kitten even before you called the shelter," Tayyal said.

End of Flashback.

Azhar parked the car near a playground and got out, this made Zianna confused as to why he did that.

He then went to her side and opened the passenger door for her.

"Come, let's dance in the rain," Azhar says surprising Zianna.

"But we..."

"Just for today, Zia. I want to fulfil this for you," he said, as she got out of the car.

He watched her walk in the playground and stand in the rain.

Zianna let the rain fall on her face, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She felt the calmness that the rain brought. She didnt know that's what she needed at that moment.

Zianna then turned to face Azhar who was looking at her and smiling. She couldn't help but smile back.

Azhar decided to take a chance by moving toward Zianna who was oblivious of what was about to happen.

He then took her hand and started dancing with her without a care in the world. All Azhar wanted at that moment was to let Zianna be free from the worries that she had in her life.

Her health.

Her so-called father.

Her past.

Azhar wanted her to feel that she could achieve anything at that moment.

An old couple watched as Azhar and Zianna danced in the rain.

"They remind me of us. I pray that their love and happiness will withstand any obstacles that life will throw at them," the old woman tells her husband.

"Me too, Honey."

They walked away leaving Zianna and Azhar dancing in the rain.

Despite the slippery ground, the couple's movements remained fluid and graceful as they danced in the pouring rain. With raindrops sparkling on their garments, Azhar gracefully spun her around. They swayed to the rhythm of the storm, oblivious to the world around them as they moved in perfect harmony. The rain's musical notes formed a dreamy accompaniment to their intimate dance, fusing with the sound of their laughter and whispered conversations. Nothing else held importance at that specific moment except for them.

If anyone would see them dancing they would think that Zianna and Azhar were in love by the way they are moving in the same rhythm.

"I think we should get out of the rain now," Zianna said, moving away from Azhar's arms. "I won't want your mother coming at me when you get sick..."

"Zia, it is the other way around. I think my mother, your brother and even his wife will come after me if YOU get sick," Azhar said, making her laugh knowing that it was all true.

They walked back to the car with their clothes drenched and wondered what they would do as they couldn't go back to the office with wet clothes.

"I think it is the day you eat lunch at home," Azhar said, surprising Zianna. "I didn't mean it like that. What I meant is that Mamma has been asking if I could bring you for lunch at home. So I thought why not today?" he added.

"But how can I go when I am wet from the rain? Wouldnt she say anything?"

"She will scold me for taking you in the rain and then she will ask my sister to lend you her clothes," Azhar said.

"Why would she scold you? You didn't do anything to me."

"Because she asked me to take care of you and today I asked you to dance in the rain. And she cares about you," Azhar said surprising her.

Zianna has always missed having a motherly figure in her life. Whenever Hayat would hug her, it would remind her of the hugs that her mother would always give her when she needed one.

"I accept the lunch invitation and I will tell that its my ide to dance in the rain, okay?"

Azhar knew that it won't work but he had to agree with Zianna and see if his mother wouldn't scold him.

"Okay."
