It had been almost two rotations (days) since you crashed on this tropical planet. You weren't sure what it was called, as you didn't know what star system you were in.

You had been on a special mission with Rex, and as Kix's assistant on the Resolute, you were roped into this mission when Kix was needed with the rest of the 501st.

It was supposed to be an easy mission. A simple escape pod ejection onto a Separatist ship, steal the information, and get out. But you and Rex got stuck on board and separated from the rest of your mission squad.

When you ejected in a Separatist escape pod, the communications weren't working, and you ended up crashing on a nearby planet. But no worries, if you knew General Skywalker, he'd come looking for his prized Captain. All you could do is wait.

It'd been two days since you crashed. You and Rex had scouted the remote, desolate island and found a nice cave. Mostly Rex would keep watch at the mouth of the cave, waiting for any signs of ships.

By now, it's nearly midday, so you walk over to him, bored out of your mind. As you approach, Rex looks over curiously. You hadn't said much to each other since you first crashed.

"See anything yet?" You ask.

"Nope." All of his responses are quick and to the point.

You sit down next to him with a sigh. "See anything at all?"

Rex glances over at you, "Just you." He hides a smile.

"Ha, ha, very funny." You reply, not really sure what goes on in that mind of his. "I'm so bored, Rex."

"Well, one of us has to keep watch."

You turn to face Rex, sitting criss-crossed. "Why don't you leave something reflective out there so someone can find us?"

"Why? I'm fine with keeping watch."

"But I'm bored, Rex..." A thought comes to your mind. Before you can push it back, it blurts out. "Entertain me, Rex."

Rex nearly spits as he doubles over, suppressing a laugh. He catches his breath, "Excuse me?"

You sigh and stand up, going back over to your's and Rex's makeshift sleeping area. You pull something reflective out of your med-pack and hand it to Rex. "It's been nearly two days of waiting around, not doing anything, and we barely talk. You're off duty now."

Rex looks at you quizzically and takes the reflective object, heading outside the cave.

-----------------------

A ways in front of your sleeping area in the cave, you sit with Rex. Your feet dangle above a very tiny cliff in the rock's edge. So tiny, your feet are underwater, along with Rex's. In front of you is the open part of the cave where the entrance is all water. What little light can reach you glistens on the water's surface.

Rex sits in his blacks with his pant legs rolled up just below his knees. Your outfit is also rolled up.

Rex looks over at you and beams, "Maybe this is better than keeping watch."

"See? Someone will come looking for us, but we don't need to be stressed about it."

"Stressed? I wasn't stressed!" Rex defends himself.

You playfully push Rex on the shoulder. He dramatically bends back. "Yeah? Then why'd you look so stressed?"

Rex looks down at the water and doesn't look up for a while. You go quiet. You didn't mean to offend him. "I'm sorry, Rex. Sometimes your on-duty face makes you seem stressed."
