Idk what's been up with me lately but I've really been wanting to put fictional characters
through lots of psychical and mental pain :]

So enjoy a little bit of that and fruitcake put together!
*giggles at you evilly and crawls up through the ceiling*

Rain could be heard pounding down against the roof of Gardenview, the pots and pans in the diner rattling in the same rhythm. Even six floors down into the levels beneath the safety of the toon's living quarters, the downpour was still uncomfortably violent. Three other toons stood behind Sprout, glancing around the wrecked diner and occasionally to each other. "Haha.. The rain is really intense today..." Razzle said, a nervous look breaking through the smile he still managed to keep. His brother stared up at the ceiling anxiously "...Is there any chance that the ceiling will collapse?" Dazzle said, now causing Razzle to start staring at the ceiling with concern.

Sprout turned to them, looking a lot more content than he should be "Really? A bit of rain breaking through this ceiling?" He held back a giggle. "I wouldn't call that a bit of rain..." Boxten replied from across the kitchen, tugging on his bandana and moving a little closer to the group. "You guys are just a bunch of scaredy cats!" Sprout said, shoveling a bag of flour into his arms. "Easy for you to say!" Razzle argued "You have your kissboy with you!"

Sprout nearly dropped the bag of flour out of shock.
Cosmo stood right beside Sprout, also as taken by surprise as he was. He did have to admit though, Cosmo being there did make the situation a lot better. "I am NOT a kissboy!!" Cosmo said, startled. "Awww.. Does that mean you don't love me?" Sprout joked. "What!?! No!! I do.. errumm.. Love you." Cosmo tried correcting himself. Razzle began giggling at the funny situation he had caused, even bringing a small flicker of joy in Dazzle's eyes.

"Uhhmmm... Anyways!" Cosmo stepped closer to the counter where Sprout had stationed himself "Why are we down here again? It's kind of an odd time for baking.."
"Oh, I wasn't planning on baking. I just wanted to grab some of the left over ingredients and supplies we had left behind in the diner." Sprout explained, grabbing an egg carton although half its eggs were missing. "Ah, got it!" Cosmo already began helping collect utensils randomly scattered across the countertops.
"Really?.. At THIS kind of time? When the rain is super scary and the lights are flickering and THERE COULD BE TWISTEDS WAITING TO JUMP US?!" Boxten panicked, his eyes darting around.
"Oh don't worry. I checked for twisteds before coming down here. We're all good!" Sprout reassured, directing his gaze up to the faintly flickering lights "Also, flickering lights mean nothing! We're completely-"

The light above his and Cosmo's head suddenly shut off, and quickly so did the rest, along with the sound of an electrical shortage in the distance. After a brief moment of silence from the group, Cosmo muttered "Should've brought Brightney..." Sprout still kept his calm expression, even if the others could barely see it in the dark "We don't need Brightney! Besides, we have enough supplies for now." He began towards the doorway with a bag of ingredients slung across his shoulder "We can come back tomorrow morning for the rest."

"No thanks." Boxten immediately said "No running around creepy abandoned floors for me."
"Fine. At least help carry something?" Sprout requested.
Boxten picked up a small box of cups and glasses, struggling to make his way towards the door in the dark.
"Careful! They're breakable!" Sprout warned him.
"Y-yes.. Totally got it."

The four toons exited into another room, just by the elevator.
Sprout looked over his shoulder the best he could through the dark, watching the three trailing along. Boxten stood at the back of the group, slowed by the heavy ass box. Sprout began walking back towards him "Here, let me-"

A roar pierced through the air and a set of teeth clamped down on Boxten's arm.
He screamed as he was immediately tossed into the air into a wall. Razzle shrieked, watching the twisted swing her head around and storm towards Boxten's limp body. A blur of brown flashed in front of Sprout's eyes. Cosmo took out a pan from the box Boxten had dropped when attacked and started towards twisted Shelly. The twisted immediately locked eyes with the brownie, running full speed at him. Cosmo swung the pan at her head, cracking the side of her head. The twisted roared agitatedly, sending Cosmo into the wall with her tail. Twisted Shelly stood over the weakened toon, ignoring Sprout running to try and save him.

In a blink, Shelly snagged Cosmo's hoodie and swiftly dragged him away into the pitch black shadows.
"H-hey wait!!" Razzle called as Sprout began running after the twisted, he had no other thought in his mind.
He had to save Cosmo before it was too late.

Sprout skidded to a stop, black painting the floor beneath him.
He looked up and his heart stopped.

In front of him lied the mutilated body of his lover.
Twisted Shelly stood on the other side of his body, blood smeared teeth gleaming.
Sprout felt his arms go limp by his sides, staring down at the corpse.
He broke down into sobs, too overwhelmed with grief to notice the malicious twisted approaching.
"I-I'm sorry..." He sobbed.
In an instant the twisted stood over him, pinning him to the floor and sawing her teeth through his flesh.

Maybe he could join Cosmo in the next life.
