(Season 3, Episode 12)

Another team up between the Agency and the Port Mafia. This is happening way too much. There I was, standing with the rest of the Black Lizard, Kouyou, Kaji, the Boss, and the majority of the Armed Detective Agency. What a position to be in: both leaders are about to die from one idiotic ability user.

The man called Pushkin ran out of the end of the mineshaft, hollering about his victory. I will admit, the look on his face when he noticed us was hilarious.

"See, just as I said," the Boss chuckled.

Pushkin stood still as a statue; his eyes horrified from the sight before him. Who's laughing now, you bastard.

"What a simplistic escape plan," Fukuzawa sighed. "Far too predictable when compared to Fyodor. He's the master of phantoms."

"It's not possible!" The man shouted.

"Well, we were all put in grave danger because of you." Kunikida menacingly stared at the guy. "What do you have to say for yourself?"

Pushkin knelt and offered a bow to both the president of the ADA and the leader of the Port Mafia. "Forgive me, I'll disable the virus right away! I'll turn myself in! PLEASE?!"

"I suppose that's a good enough apology for now," the Boss thought out loud.

"Yes, let's forgive him," Fukuzawa agreed.

Just as the man exhaled in relief, the two leaders simultaneously launched a combined punch. "Not a chance!"

"Did they even actually need us there?" I asked Hirotsu, as the four of us walked back to our mafia transport.

"I suppose not, but there's nothing wrong with having backup."

Are you kidding me?! I just realized that I had a perfect opportunity to go talk to Yosano! I was so focused on the mission that the thought didn't even cross my mind!

Later that night, I was informed about the arrest of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Dazai and Fitzgerald made an unexpected team up, which resulted in them locating the Russian man at a cafe. Special Opps were sent out to apprehend the villain; one dying in the process.

"You know, last time I checked, Japan doesn't have an actual prison to hold gifteds for long periods of time." I recalled, talking to Katsumi on the phone. "Where exactly are they gonna take Fyodor?"

"There's this facility in Europe," she explained. "It has a bunch of security features that prevent its inhabitants from escaping. The elevators and rooms flood, and you can't forget the ability proof walls and cells."

"Wow, a place like that really exists?"

"Yup, Meursault is the name of the place. By the way, I should probably tell you that you're in charge of accompanying Fyodor's transport."

"Huh, why me!?" I questioned. "The Boss is going to get suspicious, not to mention my team and my boyfriend."

"Relax, it'll only be a day or two at most," the white-haired girl argued. "You, Jouno, and I are assigned to this mission, since theoretically his ability shouldn't work on any of us."

"What makes you so sure about that? We're not even sure if that's his actual ability."

"Well, if he touches someone, they bleed out to death, right? So, if Jouno turns into particles, he can't be touched. You can always use a doll as a shield. And of course, I can open a shadow portal and throw Fyodor's ass out of the plane."

"Yeah, I guess you're right."

-Ten Minutes Later-

After grabbing a quick snack, I was prepared to depart. Seated by the entrance, I bent down to tie my shoes. It was at that moment the door swung open.

"Where are you going?" Michi inquired, settling beside me as he took off his shoes.

"I'm visiting a friend's place for the night," I lied.

"Gin?"

"No, you don't know him."

"HIM?!" The redhead's eyes widened. "You're sleeping over a guy's house?! How could you?!"

"NO, NO, NO, IT'S NOT LIKE THAT!" I shouted. "IT'S MY BROTHER!"

"I don't remember you mentioning a brother," Michi kept his brow raised. "Then why did you call him your friend?"

I mean, Jouno and I both have great interrogation tactics, so... it works?

"Well, he's a family friend, but I've always seen him as a brother. He'd always look out for me when I was little, and we were always pretty close." If the day comes where the truth comes out, he's gonna hate me. "Plus, my other female friend is gonna be there, so it's not just us."

"Oh, alright." He sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions."

"No, I'm sorry for scaring you like that." I pulled him in for a kiss. "I love you, Michizou."

"I love you too, (Y/n)."

-At The Loading Dock-

"You're late," Jouno huffed.

"Sorry, I got held up." I admitted, as I entered the aircraft.

Katsumi snickered, as she emerged out of my own shadow. "Does it have something to do with Michizou Tachihara?"

The white-haired girl's words stopped me in my own tracks. Katsumi, you little snitch!

"You shouldn't get so close to your enemies; it will come back to bite you," Jouno frowned.

"I don't care."

"Chill, bro." Katsumi crossed her arms, as she took the blind man by the ear. "It's not her fault you get no bitches."

"That's not the point!"

Jouno's POV:

We seated ourselves inside of the helicopter: Katsumi and (Y/n) on one side, while I sat on the other. A large, clear box with holes was strapped to the same side I was on. Inside was Fyodor Dostoyevsky. He was blindfolded, wore soundproof headphones, had his mouth taped, and was in a strait jacket. There was no way he could determine what was going on.

Back to the main issue at hand. My suspicions are correct, she has no idea that Tachihara is one of us. What a foolish girl.

"Mind if I ask you a question?" (Y/n) asked me.

"That was a question but go ahead."

"You used to be a part of a criminal organization before the Captain scouted you out, correct?"

Her heart was racing. Where is she going with this?

"You already know the answer to that."

The (h/c) haired girl paused momentarily before finally asking me her question. "Do you think that someone from the Port Mafia could be convinced to be a good person?"

"Not everyone can be saved, (Y/n)," I bluntly answered. "You know this."

"Yeah, but some people can." Katsumi nudged my ribcage with her elbow, giving me an obvious wink.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
