SEBASTIAN SMYTHE

He zips up his dark green suitcase. Every time he ventured out of Central City he would always prefer to bring the certain suitcase because it reminded him of The Arrow from Starling City. He had seen him in action only once. It was the time when he was held at court during the night someone had broken into a bank on his way home. He never knew who was under that hood but it awed him how someone without superpowers could protect a city on his own. He wondered if there was someone for Central City.

As he rolled the rest of his things downstairs, he becomes face to face with his father when he enters the door. He was wearing a checkered shirt, which only showed his bloated stomach even more harshly. Along with shirt, he wore khaki shorts and sandals. Sebastian's eyes move down his body in a horrified expression. Maybe he was having those mid-life crisis things.

"Oh. You're here. How long have you been in Ohio?" He steps into the room, following to the living room and taking a beer from his personal mini fridge next to the fireplace.

Sebastian grips onto his suitcase handle when he sees the sight of his father. "Just yesterday."

"And you're leaving already? Why don't you hang out with your old man for a bit before you leave to that authentic job of yours?" His father falls onto his recliner, the chair automatically pops up the supporter for his legs. He raises his beer bottle as if cheering Sebastian. Sebastian looks at his hand and it was already white from gripping his suitcase handle to hard. He slowly lets go, before turning to open the door.

"No thanks." He looks at the pathway outside the door before turning back to his father. "Not that you want me around."

"What are you talking about Sebastian?" He watches as the old man fumbles around looking for something.

"I'm talking about the folder of adoption letters in the attic." It's time to be a man now. There is no backing out. Missiles have been fired. The old man holds his bottle in mid-drink. He looks at Sebastian but he cannot determine what the emotions were being played out through his facial features. The old man was always good at that. Sebastian never understood what he was thinking about.

"You went through my stuff?" The old man was on his feet, slamming the bottle on the center table, it's sound made Sebastian's ears cringe.

"I was looking for some law books. This recent case-" Sebastian didn't expect it but in a split-second the old man had his buff and harshly strong arms around his neck as he pinned him to the wall.

"You come to my house unannounced. And then you go through my stuff? You surely are a bastard aren't you?" The old man cackles drunkenly. Sebastian suspected he was already drunk he arrived. He was already loosing the ability to breath, and the old man manages to tighten his grip. He was choking and heaving for air but it was just too much for him. Before his last breath, he grabs the picture frame next to his face and knocks it onto the old man's skull and he falls unconscious, letting his grip go from his neck.

Sebastian falls to the floor following the old man and heaved for air, coughing out harshly. The wheezing that came out of his voice was evident from the air that had seen sucked out from him. He had his hand on his knees as he continued to heave for air. Sebastian looks at the old man, blood pooled around his head and the frame that he had hit him with was broken, glass and all.
