Chapter 8

                 

SEBASTIAN SMYTHE

Sebastian was late for a divorce case because of traffic along Central City Bank. Of all the days he could've have been late, he was late for a divorce. Police line and people made the road crowded so he had to figure out how to get to the other side where he saw that the cars were moving smoothly. When he made it to the courthouse, he was lucky enough that the couple he was assigned to was not at each other's necks yet. He just needed to get this case over and he can go to the police station.

Later, Sebastian made it out of the courthouse alive. He stands outside the courthouse and takes a breather, it was getting clammy inside with broiling emotions but he settled it his own way. He looks at his watch at he realized he only had three hours left. He ran towards his car and zoomed towards the police station.

"Hi. Is Joe West here?" He asked the man at the reception area. He signals Sebastian to wait before standing up and heading inside the office where Sebastian could see random cops doing their work. He leaves unsuccessfully. "Sorry sir but Joe West and his partner Fred Chyre have just left an hour ago for detective work. Is there a message I must pass on?"

Why does Sebastian never seem to reach Joe West, he spots a familiar face inside the office and tries to remember his name. "May I see Eddie Thawne instead?"

"Thawne!" The man yells inside the office and nodded his head to the Eddie fellow whom he met earlier in the week and seemed to recognize him as well. "Ah. Mr. Symthe. What can I do for you?" He asks when as he approaches Sebastian.

"I haven't been in contact with Detective West since we first talked. Why haven't you reached out on him for me?" Sebastian's controlling tone is back in action.

Eddie sighs and pinches the top of his nose in stress. "Mr. Smythe, I simply can't contact you about Detective West's presence in the station because he is a very busy man. And I have no relationship with him on the force whatsoever. What is so important that you need to see him badly?"

Sebastian sighs and grips onto his shoulder bag strap. "I'm working on a case, a personal one and it involves him and someone from the force as well. His name is Barry Allen, you must know him perhaps?"

"I've heard of him before but I haven't met him yet. As you can see, I'm new here so I really can't help you with anything. Maybe you can come back after the Particular Accelerator launch, maybe the detective will be more here than there to help you with your case." Eddie dismisses him. Sebastian places his lips in a thin line and nods. "Okay, thank you Detective Thawne."

"Always welcome to help out a citizen." He smiles his show-off grin and heads back into the office. Sebastian turns to the wall clock above him. Maybe he should just head home and rest for a while before accompanying Santana later.

Ellie Goulding hums lowly in the background as Santana stands in front of the mirror, she decided to style a white-striped sleeveless cropped blouse and a light pink waist skirt so it reached just above her knees. (a/n: You can view her outfit on my Polyvore account) She didn't know what the event would be like, so she considered wearing something formal. Her outfit matches along with her dark red pumps. When she exists the room she sees Brittany wearing her S.T.A.R Labs sweatshirt, jeans and a Yankees cap and her Converse. Santana looks down at her clothes before deciding to change into something more casual, Brittany calls her out. "Santana, wait." Santana turns back to Brittany. "Before you change your mind to change, don't. You look like a million bucks."
