TWO MONTHS LATERTwo months had passed since filming had begun, and now, today marked the final scene of the movie.
The sense of accomplishment and relief was palpable among the cast and crew as everyone gathered at a cozy restaurant for a celebratory night of drinks and food.
Laughter echoed around the table, stories from the set were shared, and glasses clinked together in cheers of success.
You sat beside Chaeyoung, who looked exhausted but content. As the evening went on, you noticed her leaning into your touch more and more.
Without hesitation, you scooted closer, wrapping your arm around her shoulders, offering her a sense of comfort amidst the buzz of conversation.
Her head rested on your shoulder, and you could feel the warmth of her skin against yours.
Everyone was too busy chatting and enjoying themselves to notice the two of you.
Suddenly, an idea came to you.
You grabbed your glass of wine and slowly stood up, causing the room to quiet down as all eyes turned to you.
"Hey, everyone," you began, holding your glass high, "I just wanted to say a few words."
The crew and actors around the table looked at you with curiosity.
"First of all, thank you all for being part of this journey. This film wouldn't have been possible without each and every one of you. You all brought so much passion and dedication to this project."
A few people nodded, raising their glasses in agreement. Chaeyoung shifted slightly in her seat, glancing up at you, her eyes curious.
"But," you continued, pausing for dramatic effect, "I also want to take a moment to highlight someone very special to me. Someone who, well, let's just say, won my heart."
The room erupted in a mixture of surprise and excitement.
A few heads turned toward Chaeyoung, and you could see her face turn a soft shade of pink as she smiled shyly.
"Tomorrow," you went on, "this incredible woman right here starts her tour." You raised your glass towards Chaeyoung, smiling down at her.
"So, here's to her, an amazing actress and an even more amazing artist."
The entire table erupted into cheers, lifting their glasses high. Soon, everyone was chanting, "Son Chaeyoung! Son Chaeyoung! Son Chaeyoung!" in rhythm.
You laughed as you glanced down at her, watching her swat your arm playfully, clearly embarrassed but unable to hide the smile on her face.
Once the toast was done and the clamor died down, you sat back down beside her.
Chaeyoung leaned in closer, her voice low as she said, "You didn't have to do that." Her words were soft, but her eyes glimmered with gratitude and affection.
You chuckled, giving her a gentle nudge with your shoulder.
"Of course I did," you replied, gazing at her with a fondness you couldn't hide. "You deserve it, and I wanted them to know just how special you are."
She blushed again, shaking her head with a small laugh, before leaning back into your side, her hand finding yours beneath the table.
You squeezed her fingers softly as the celebrations carried on around you.
Despite the noise and the crowd, it felt like it was just the two of you in that moment.
