The world outside was covered in a soft blanket of white as you and Chaeyoung decided to embrace the snow for the day.

The air was crisp and refreshing as you stepped outside, but Chaeyoung had taken the winter weather very seriously.

She was bundled up in a thick coat, scarf, hat, and layers of sweaters underneath. It looked like she could barely move, her arms stiff at her sides.

You couldn't help but burst into laughter as you watched her waddle through the snow.

"Are you sure you can walk in all that?" you teased, your voice light with amusement.

Chaeyoung narrowed her eyes at you playfully.

"At least I won't get cold!" she shot back, scooping up a handful of snow and tossing it directly at your chest.

Caught off guard, you flinched and laughed, watching the snow splatter across your coat.

"Oh, is that how it is?" you said, grinning as you bent down to grab a handful of snow in retaliation.

But just as your bare fingers were about to touch the snow, Chaeyoung's voice rang out in alarm.

"Yah! Sora! No!" she practically yelled, rushing toward you in a flustered panic.

You blinked at her, surprised by the intensity of her reaction.

"What? Scared I'm gonna hit you with this?" you teased, straightening up with a smirk.

But instead of laughing, Chaeyoung grabbed your wrists and held them up.

"Sora, your hands!" she exclaimed, her brows knitting in concern.

Your hands were bare, the skin red and veiny from the cold. You hadn't even noticed just how numb they were from the freezing air.

"You're going to get sick if you touch the snow like this!" she scolded, her voice laced with genuine worry.

You glanced down at your hands and shrugged, still grinning.

"What's a little snow?" you said, attempting to brush it off. "I wasn't cold."

Chaeyoung gave you a stern look, her hands still wrapped around your wrists.

"You can't feel the cold because your hands are numb, you idiot," she muttered, shaking her head.

She let go of you long enough to dig into her pockets and pull out an extra pair of gloves. "Here, put these on."

You raised an eyebrow, but the warmth of her concern melted your resistance.

You slipped on the gloves as instructed, though you couldn't resist one last tease. "You're scared of me because I was going to throw the snowball, huh?"

Chaeyoung crossed her arms and gave you a look, her lips twitching with a smile. "No, I'm scared of you catching a cold and being useless for the rest of the week."

You chuckled and gave her a small nudge. "I'd still win a snowball fight."

She scoffed, tossing her hair back dramatically. "Only if you survive long enough to throw the first one."

Just as Chaeyoung turned to toss another snowball in your direction, you took aim and threw one of your own.

It was meant for her shoulder, but somehow, it curved at the last second, hitting her squarely in the face.

Her small yelp was muffled by the impact, and your eyes widened in horror. "Oh no!" you gasped, rushing over to her side. "Chaeyoung, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to-"
