The sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. You blinked awake, feeling the cool fabric of your open shirt draped over your body.
As your senses came into focus, you realized you were still naked beneath the shirt, and Chaeyoung wasn't next to you.
You scratched the back of your head, groggily assuming she had gone for breakfast already.
With a yawn, you grabbed something comfortable to wear and headed toward the bathroom to freshen up.
But as soon as you opened the door, you froze.
Chaeyoung stood in front of the mirror, casually dying her hair black again.
She had a brush in one hand, the dye already coating parts of her hair, and she seemed utterly at ease.
You rubbed your eyes, half-convinced you were still dreaming. "Am I... still asleep?" you muttered under your breath.
Chaeyoung noticed you in the mirror and laughed softly. "Good morning."
She turned around and leaned forward to press a quick kiss to your lips, her smile widening as she pulled back. "You look cute when you're confused."
Still in a daze, you watched as she raised the hem of your shirt slightly, her eyes lighting up with satisfaction as she revealed the hickeys she'd left on your abs.
"Oh," she teased, biting her lip. "I forgot about these."
Your mind raced, memories of last night flooding back in pieces.
A mix of embarrassment and shock washed over you as you quickly backed out of the bathroom, shutting the door behind you.
You leaned against it, covering your mouth in disbelief, the heat rising to your cheeks as you tried to process everything.
Chaeyoung's laugh echoed from the other side of the door, clearly enjoying your flustered reaction. "Don't be shy! I think they look good on you!"
After a few hours, Chaeyoung stepped out of the bathroom, her hair now dyed jet black and styled to perfection.
She wore a white, long-sleeved blouse with puffed sleeves and buttoned cuffs, giving off a sophisticated, almost vintage vibe.
The decorative black panel down the front added a touch of elegance, while her high-waisted black shorts contrasted sharply with the blouse, creating a sleek, modern silhouette.
Black ankle boots finished the look, elongating her legs and adding a polished touch.
Dangling statement earrings shimmered with every movement, catching the light just right.
She looked stunning.
"You clean up well," you teased, leaning against the doorway with a soft smile as you admired her from head to toe.
Chaeyoung glanced at you through the mirror, smirking.
"I have to look good, it's a big night." She turned around, doing a little twirl. "What do you think?"
"You look perfect," you said, meaning every word. "They're going to lose their minds when they see you."
She rolled her eyes playfully, but the slight blush on her cheeks showed she appreciated the compliment. "It's not about that. Tonight's about celebrating everything, everything I've worked for. But... I'm glad you'll be there."
You chuckled, adjusting the comfy hoodie you'd chosen to wear, planning to blend in with the fans at the ceremony. "I'll be in the audience, pretending to be just another fan. Don't worry. Tonight's your night."
