(A week later) Hailey "hey pretty girl look what came in", Avery "are those my school pictures mom", Hailey "yes and they are so cute", Avery "can we send a few to mom", Hailey "of course we can", Hailey "you are literally the cutest", Jay "I'm back from work. How are my girls doing", he said after kissing Hailey's stomach, Hailey "I'm good, came back home from work because of my morning sickness", Avery "daddy look", Jay "are these your school pictures", Avery "yeah do you like them", Jay "do I like them, I love them, I am definitely gonna need one for my wallet, so I can see that pretty face everyday when I go to work", Avery smiled, Hailey "we find out the gender of our baby in just two days", Jay "I know, how are you feeling", Hailey "excited, and nervous at the same time. What about you", Jay "I'm feeling super excited".

Jay "have a good day at school princess we love you. You are also getting picked up by your mom and Leah for the weekend", Avery "I know I remember", Jay "remember to tell her to put your earrings back in since we forgot to put them on you", Avery "okay", Hailey "have fun for the weekend", Avery "okay, I love you mommy and daddy", Jay "I love you too princess", Hailey "I love you too honey", Avery got out of the car and headed inside of school. Jay and Hailey left the school and headed to the hospital for their appointment, Jay "what's going on", Hailey "I'm kind of getting nervous", Jay "about what my love", Hailey "I don't know, just nerves I guess", Jay "it'll be okay", he said kissing her on the hand. They pulled into the parking lot of the hospital, and parked the car, they got out holding hands and headed inside of the hospital and up to the second floor for the maternity department. Jay "just sit down, I'll get you checked out", Hailey "okay. Erin and Nina are coming over again for dinner", Jay "okay", Jay went up to the receptionist and gave them Hailey's info and once he was done he sat beside Hailey. Hailey rested her head on his shoulder, "Upton-Halstead, Hailey", Jay "come on baby", they got up and followed the doctor to the examination room. "How are we doing today", Hailey "I'm good", Jay "me too, I'm good and you", "I'm good, so just a basic appointment for you to check on the baby, and finding out the gender of the baby", Hailey "yes", "okay you can lay down on here and just lift your shirt up a bit", Hailey got on the examination table and laid down, and lifted up her shirt. Jay held her hand, the doctor put a bit of gel on her stomach, "okay so everything looks good, the baby is looking very healthy. Everything is looking good, the baby is growing as well as planned. If I'm correct the two of you would like to know the gender of your baby", Jay "yes", Hailey "yes", "okay so it's looking like you're carrying a baby boy. Congratulations to the both of you. Would the two of you like a copy of today's ultrasound", Hailey "yes please", "I am gonna get that printed and I'll be right back", Hailey "we're having a boy", Jay "I know I'm so happy", Hailey "me too", after leaving their appointment and scheduling their next appointment they headed to the airport to pick up Hank who had just landed in the city. Jay "what airport is he at", Hailey "LaGuardia", Jay drove to the airport, they picked up Hank and headed back home. Hailey "you could stay in the guest room of course, and by the way Erin and her wife are coming over for dinner. Their kids aren't coming they are at a sleepover with Olivia's son Noah", Hank "okay, you said that you had something you had to tell me", Hailey "yeah, just get settled in first and then once you've done that, I'll tell you", Hank "okay", Hailey went to the room to change into something more comfy and Jay started cooking dinner. Hank "hey", Hailey "dang it, you scared me", Hank "sorry", Hailey "it's okay. Did you need anything, or help with anything"? Hank "no, you said after I was done settling in that you would tell me what you had to tell me", Hailey "I'm pregnant", Hank "baby that's great, come here", Hailey hugged her dad. Hank "do you know the gender of the baby", Hailey "it's a boy", Hank cried, Hank "that's great baby", Jay "babe can you get the door, I think it's Nina and Erin", Hailey "I'm coming, dad come on Erin and Nina are here", Hank "okay, right behind you", they headed downstairs, Hank helped set up the table, Jay finished cooking and Hailey answered the door. Hailey "hey", Erin "hey", Hailey "did you just get off of work", Erin "yeah, we both did. The kids are with Olivia for the weekend", Hailey "yeah I know, Nina told me earlier, Avery's not here either. She's with Tasia for the weekend", Jay "dinner is almost done, just waiting on the garlic bread", Hailey "okay", after dinner was finally finished, Jay served everyone, and then they all had dinner. In the middle of dinner, Hailey got up from the table and rushed upstairs to the bathroom shutting the door, she puked, Jay "I'm gonna go check on her, I'll be right back", Jay excused himself and went upstairs to check on his wife. Jay "babe", he said knocking on the door, Jay "can I come in", Hailey didn't say a thing she just continued to puke, Jay turned the door and went inside. Jay "are you okay", he said kneeling down beside her, Hailey "I don't think I could finish my food at the moment, my body won't let me. Even if I try I'm just gonna puke again", Jay "why don't you just lie down then. I'll bring up some water for you", Hailey "thank you", Hailey got in bed and laid down, Jay quickly went downstairs to get her water bottle, Jay "here, just call me if you need anything", Hailey "I will", he passed her the remote and then left her. He and the others finished up dinner.
