                               CHAPTER NINE

I am currently driving towards Amara mansion as today is Sunday , she has invited me to come over and spend the Sunday at her place.

I was enthusiastic at first , but then I remembered today is day that Elizabeth and her kids are arriving Nigeria.  so I guessed she had refused to go with her family to the airport to welcome them .

Because she would rather stay at her mansion than to participates in the welcoming ceremony.

As I drove towards her house I can't help but think our life's, I am sure it going to be drama from today's hence forth

Sarah and Amara are definitely going to fight as usual, chuks will have to be the one to separate

While their parents will stay away from their children disputes , and allow them to settle it within themselves

While him will be the one driving both Amara and Sarah to the hospital for treatment

James shakes his head and laugh as he knows it about to go down in flames this coming days .

Few minutes into his drive,  he had arrived at Amara mansion and signalled the security to open the electric gate .

Once the gates was opened he drove in towards the parking lot , after securing a good spot he  killed his engine and got down from his car.

As he looked around the estate he can't help but wonder why had Amara ?  purchase this property knowing fully well she is the only one and few workers that reside in the huge mansion.

James stop gauking at my property come inside the grill will soon be ready , Amara called out from where she was standing at the door way

She had heard James car drive into her property so decided to come out and  meet him

You know boss one of  this days I will sell your cars James said as he pointed out to the many cars in Amara open space

Amara looked down at her assistant and narrowed her eyes at him

James don't put me in a fowl mood by saying stupid things you know those cars are my pride don't threaten me with them

Jmara said as she turned sharply and walked inside, James immediately followed her in and closed the door behind him .

Come on boss dont be upset I was just joking James said as he took his seat and started to pour himself a shot of whiskey

Amara looked at James but didn't offer him a reply instead she picks up her phone and looked through it

James observed that Amara was wearing casual clothes today ,  with loose fitting black pant trousers on her tall slim frame.   and a white sleeveless basketball top with her arms showing a bit of muscle.

While her long dread  hair was laid down,  streaming on her back gently like a river anytime she moves .

James stop staring at me I have told you I don't like it Amara said while still pressing her phone.

I am sorry boss I just can't help it, you look like an Egyptian goddess , expecially your eyes

Amara turned slowly and look at James , are you sure you are ok James ? Amara asked him

Yes of course James answered while he drank another

I am not so sure James , but whatever it is please keep it to yourself .don't weird me out because I am not In the mood for it .

And tone down  your praises I am no goddess ok Amara said as she dropped her phone and went to take  a book from the shelf , that was  in the living room .

How was the date with Jane?  James asked

It went well she took it well , I was actually thought she might call of the wedding and save us both the stress and drama but she didn't

Hmmm I guess she love you alot,  James implied

Amara smiled a little bit and said no James she doesn't love me she in inlove with idea of becoming my wife , Amara said as she returned back to her seat and sat down

So what are you going to do? Amara it today that they are coming in,  won't you ? go see the kids at least James asked .

Amara closed her book as she began to feel a little bit irritated with James questions

James I will see the kids , but for now let me be ok I just need some time to myself I dont want anyone yapping in my ears

Besides my parents has taken over,  they have gone to the airport to pick them up.  so they will be fine
Amara said as  she went back to book to start reading.

James poured himself another shot as he continued to make conversation with his boss , while he hides away with Amara to avoid going to the airport in

Is Amara coming ? with us to the airport Aretha asked her first son chuks , who was talking to one his girlfriends Emilia .

Sometimes she wishes he would just stopped fooling around with multiple girls and settled down

Allen on the other hand need prayer,  because it is  only prayer that can make him to realise that there are woman existing outside of the car/machines he works on everyday

And Sarah let her not think about her for now , thinking about Sarah can give her a serious migraine

Mom you know Amara won't come so let us go to the airport ok Sharon said as she headed to the the car

Chuks let go Jude chike said  to his son  , together they will all troop to the car that will take them to the airport.
