REALITY IS CRUEL

                          CHAPTER FOURTEEN

I walked around the chike mansion,  i ain't going to lie everything is so beautiful and well taken care of.

The huge landscape and trees are so welcoming
I am not sure I will be able to go back to America if I  continued to feel this everyday

How are you feeling Elizabeth Alice asked her friend as she joined her in the garden which is facing the massive open space landscape

I feel good Alice for the first time in my life I feel happy Elizabeth said while smiling widely

I can see it in your face your literally glowing Alice said while she touch Elizabeth cheek which was starting to turn red from blush

Stop it your making me blush Elizabeth said while laughing

So Sarah is a lawyer huh Alice said out of the blue

Yeah she is I was surprised because she never mentioned it to me Elizabeth said

Well it serah she is prone to surprise you whenever she feel like Alice said

Elizabeth squinted her eyes at her friend as she catches the suspicious undertones in her words
Did something happened  Alice ? Elizabeth asked her friend

Nope  nothing happened Alice said as she tried to not give out any suspicious behaviour

Elizabeth smiled at her friend as she can see Alice is trying to hide something

You know all of me Alice isn't it fair you share some of your secrets with me Elizabeth asked

Come on Elizabeth stop that Alice said as she stood up and walked a little bit away from her friend

Stop what Alice I  just want to know what is going on and what you meant Elizabeth said towards her friend who was backing her

You are trying to guilt trip me Lizzy, Alice replied

Ok fine if you don't want to share what is going on  with me,   it fine ok Elizabeth said as she doesn't want her friend to feel pressured about her questions .

Alice breathed out as she knows she had just hurt Elizabeth feelings

Come on Lizzy stopped that I know your dying to know what ups Alice said a she went back to go sit down with her friend

Nah  don't worry about it I am fine as long as it not life threatening it is cool Elizabeth said

Alice knew she had to make up her mind and come clean with her friend because things with serah is starting to get heated and she could use some advice from her friend

She then turned to her friend and said
We kissed yesterday in the car ride from the airport Alice said out loud in a rush

What !! Elizabeth screamed out loud in surprised

You mean to tell me you and Sarah was the doing the lip lock during the car ride from the airport Elizabeth asked her friend while shaking her in excitement

Stop it Lizzy Alice said While laughing at how  her friend was  excited for her

No I can't I am so happy for you Alice,  Elizabeth said to her friend genuinely while hugging her

Thank you Alice answered with a hug back to her friend

So you like the chike s?  Alice asked her friend as she can still remember how the chike s had welcomed them with a small party and lots of gifts

Alice I love them they are basically my family now ,

I can't believe they are  showing me so much love and also adoring the kids .
You know their grandparents took them out to show them the lands they own.

They said it tradition and that it must be done to every baby born into the family

Wow that rich Alice said to her friend
Yeah,  I am really happy Alice I feel so light in this place, now my kids won't grow up without a family Elizabeth said as she stood up and touched a tree

Amara wasn't present at the airport Lizzy,  Alice said gently to her.  hoping the discussion she is about to start won't make Elizabeth  upset   or change her happy mood to sadness.

Elizabeth stopped what she was doing and dropped her hand,  truth be told she had been trying to avoid any subject that will lead to the discussion of Amara

But now that her friend had brought it up she knew there was no escaping it
Elizabeth turned around and went back to sit beside her friend,  she then rested her head on Alice shoulder hoping she could get a moral support from her .

I walked along the hallway of the mansion this morning Alice , I saw Amara portrait from when she was a baby and  to an adult

Gods above  she looks so beautiful and regal Elizabeth said with emotions thick  In her voice

It ok Lizzy it will get better Alice said to her while she held her close

She didn't come to see the kids Alice Elizabeth said quietly with tears streaming down her face 

I know Lizzy  I know Lizzy,  don't worry Lizzy soon it will get better Alice said to her  while comforting her friend

I know she is angry at me and hates me , but the kids didn't do anything to her she should  have at least come see them and get to know them

They  are her  children Alice Elizabeth said this time with anger in her voice

Now calm down Lizzy just  calm down,  I am sure she is still processing everything that is going on

And besides Sarah had  promised to speak to her,  so just be calm ok no need for any anger Alice said as she tried to calm her friend down

For how long is she still processing the news Alice ?  Sarah had told her about the kids a month ago and she didn't say anything

She didn't come to the airport to see the kids or asked how they are doing she just simply kept her distance from them.

I know very well  she doesn't like me and wants nothing to do with me,  but the kids didn't wrong her they are innocent of all of this
Elizabeth said with frustration in her voice who knew the hatred Amara has towards her will extend towards the kids

I told you to be calm let Sarah handle it ok now come on let go inside I heard the cars pull up ,
Alice said as she helped Elizabeth to wipe her tears and  guides her inside to meet the newest arrivals of the chike family
