CHAPTER TWENTY ONE
I walked into my office with an added Extra stride , I could could feel the heel of my Armani men shoe hit the tyled floor with a resounding sound
It a going to be a beautiful day I thought to myself. because .
Today I feel a little bit lighter and happy , it as if a heavy burden have been lifted up my shoulders.
Gone are those early morning moodiness that have been accompanying me for the past two years ,now in place of that moodiness is a happy feeling.
Because for one I am a mother . not just any mother but a mother of two beautiful little kids ,who would one day grow up and succeed me .
And I can also feel that my life is starting to get back on track who wouldn't be happy ?
Boss good morning James said to me as he came inside my office to read to me my todays schedule
Good morning James how was your weekend I asked him
It was fine Amara thank you
Good good now what do you have for me ?
You have a video call conference with the Egyptian investors Mr Mohamed, and Mr ANOVA the German investor is also going to be present .
This call is scheduled for 2:55 pm west African time .
I have already made an arrangement for your schedule to be cleared for that time James said as he walked closer to her desk
Hmmmm alright . what about Don Carlos has he given Allen the go ahead to remodel his car ?
Yes boss Allen confirmed it a while ago . but he also wants to see you first to let tell you something before he starts on the car
Amara squinted her eyebrows at James and looked at him with a not so pleasant expression
See me first maka why ? Does he need extra parts for the car , that he wants me to come see it before it is approved .
Yes boss I believe so James replied her
Oh alright, let his assistant know I will down there in 5 minutes.
Amara said before taking off her three piece suit jacket and walked with purposely strides down to the company garage
Where all the cars are being assembled on, and showcased.
The company garage which also happens to be her youngest brother Allen domain
Brother they said you asked of me Amara said as she placed her hand on her waist and waited for her brother reply
Allen stopped what he was doing and rolled from under the car he was assembling
He stood up and dusted his palm on his overall clothes before saying
The car Mr Carlos sent back for remodeling need a new crankshaft, Amara the one that is there now has already been changed but not by us Allen said to his sister
Allen looked at his sister who was paying attention to every word he was saying.
He felt proud of her because she is the epitome of a true heir apparent
everything she does is always smart and calculating
She never makes decisions impulsively or negatively, everything she does is always articulated and mind blowing
Amara looked at her brother for some time before saying
Ok change the crankshaft I will speak with Carlos , I will be the one to let him know he Will be charge extra for this
Amara said while walking around the car Allen was working on
Flowers for Mr Allen chike a delivery man said out loud as he came into the underground garage
Amara turned immediately when she heard the strange voice , upon seeing the delivery with a full banquet of white rose
