CLEARITY 1

                           CHAPTER NINETEEN

I was currently helping Elizabeth to feed one of the twins with one of the baby's bottle, while she breastfeeds  the other one

I was shocked at first when I saw how petite she is,  it got me wondering how was she able to manage and feed the twins to be this healthy

It was then I  learned that it was her friend Alice who does it for her

But Alice had gone with Sarah for her business trip so that why I had to fill in for  her

Elizabeth do you like the car you got today?  I asked her
Elizabeth smiled and said ,  yes I love it is a very beautiful car but i don't know anywhere to drive to Elizabeth said to her kids grandmother

Don't worry dear soon you will know everywhere ARETHA answered

She and Elizabeth continued making small talks while feeding the twins simultaneously.

I hurried back into my car and shut the door in annoyance, gods above what is wrong with me ? For I have just rushed out of Jane house

All because my dick had refused to erect no matter how much Jane had touched me .

Tonight had started as a great night and was possibly showing signs of me fucking Jane

But all that came to abrupt stop when my dick refused to rise,  or my body refused to show any signs of arousals.

I didn't know what happened or what went wrong all I know was that  I couldn't bring myself to sleep with her no matter how hard I had tried

The moment I felt myself letting loose and getting ready to be with Jane I immediately thought of the twins and my mood and  arousal turned soured
What a wasted night

I then had to bid a hasty goodbye to Jane and leave her house , I am sure by now she will deemed me impotent or something else

But heaven knows it not my fault because I had also  thought tonight Will be night,  I will be able to give Jane what she wants. 

Since some of  my guilt about what happened two years ago was starting to weigh less , but seems my body is not yet ready for it.

Now I am sitting at the back seat of my car with my driver taking me home

I rubbed my face and look out into the dark nights of the great ABA city , I guess i will be spending tonight alone again

I then pulled out my phone and called my mum at this point I need to hear her voice , it been long since I spoke to her

On the second ring she picked up

Hello Amara is everything alright? She asked me

I smiled as I feel my mum would never stop getting worried about me anytime I call her

Yes mum I am fine and you ? I asked her

We are fine dear she replied. I was about to say something to her when I started hearing some baby voices at the background

I then have to pull the phone closer to my ear in other to listen more to her background

I heard the babies  laughs  and my mum talking back at them,  all the while saying it in their baby gibberish way .

I instantly knew that it was my kids and that she  was with .  
I smiled happily to myself and listened more  to the background noise

The baby's noise immediately started to calm the chaotic emotions within me

Amara are you there?  my mum asked me
Yes mum I am here I replied her

Ok dear is there something you want ? that made you call it quite late you know

No mom I just wanted to hear your voice.  and speaking of my late call I just got back from Jane place we had a date today

Oh that nice So how did it go ? Aretha CHIKE ask her daughter

The dinner was nice mom but I couldn't spend the night with her I wasn't feeling it
Oh  I am so sorry dear , her mother replied her

It ok mom so why is the babies still awake I thought they would be asleep by now Amara asked her mom

They were asleep during the day but they got up around 7:15  I and Elizabeth is currently feeding them now but once  they are done eating
We will try to get them back to sleep

Oh alright .
huh mum can I  speak to them ? Amara ask her mum hoping she won't start interrogating her on her sudden show of willingness towards her kids

Ahh sure her mother stammered out . before she heard th rustling of the phone being moved

She then heard her mum telling her to speak that the phone is placed on one  the kids ear

Amara could literally feel her heart beating fast and her palms getting wet , the last time she had this feeling was the day she found out about them

And now it seems the feeling will always come to her anytime she is about to do something that concerns them

Amara cleared her throat before speaking hello my love how are you ?

A baby voice immediately responded back to her in a gibberish words, Amara felt herself smiling widely .

Her mother  helped her to placed the phone on each of the babies ear , she spoke to them gently and happily while a few tears drop from her eyes

After she was done with the babies her mother voice came through

Are you fine Amara ? Her mother asked her

Yes mom I am fine Amara said with her slightly hoarse voice which was thick with emotions

Ok dear,  I am really happy that you spoke to the twins tonight I hope you can do that more often ? She asked her daughter

I will mom , and thank you for everything ma I really appreciate Amara said to her mom

Your welcome dear now go to sleep ok we will talk tomorrow

Ok ma goodnight and kiss the twins goodnight for me Amara said

I will dear ARETHA replied as she heard the end of the  dialed tone

Is she fine ?  Elizabeth ask her kids grandmother

To be honest Elizabeth I don't know but it seems she is getting better , because I believe she is .

I mean you saw what she did she spoke to the twins I am sure as time goes on she will come around .

Aretha said to Elizabeth while she picked up Aiden and started walking to the kids bedroom

Elizabeth got up From her seat and followed Mrs Aretha praying silently In her mind,  for Amara to come see the kids .
