"Hey, there she is" Asher exclaims when he sees me. He was walking out with Jeremiah, cam, and Belly, on their way to play beer pong. "You on me and Jere's team?" Asher asks me with his beautiful smile and I internally scream at myself for not appreciating him as much as I should "Yeah ill be right out I'm just gonna go get a refill" I say holding up my cup "Anyone want anything" I ask and they all deny so I head inside going straight to the drink table. As I pour my mix of punch and tequila, which is more tequila than punch if we're being honest, I see Conrad in my peripheral vision. Not just Conrad but Conrad and Nicole, dancing together while a slow song played. I caught myself staring, tears struggling to stay within my eyes. I chug that drink and pour myself another, this time all tequila. I guess we're getting fucked up tonight. I take a deep breath and head outside. As soon as I walk out to the beer pong table I hear the cheers from Jeremiah and Asher. "Whats going on," I ask confused "I asked Cam to be my date to the deb ball" Belly answers cheerfully while Cam nods smiling brightly "Aw bells I'm so happy for you guys" I tell the couple. My heart pangs in my chest, guilt washing over me knowing the Asher was probably waiting for me to ask him to be my date to the ball. Jere notices my mood change and changes the topic "So are we gonna play some beer pong or what" he says enthusiastically.

After about 25 minutes later of us playing, me and jere are pretty drunk, Belly is just a little tipsy, and both Cam and Asher are sober since they are driving home. Me and Jere together is funny, but us together while we're drunk is hilarious. We're currently laughing at something that wasn't even remotely funny but here we were dying and almost pissing ourselves from laughter. "Oh My God, let's go dance" I shout and Jere answers with "Great idea let's go" he takes my hand and we both stumble inside leaving the three others outside. The song Teenage Dream by Katy Perry starts playing and me and jere absolutely dance and sing our hearts out. Sure we look ridiculous, but we are having the time of our lives. After the song jere has the great idea of singing karaoke and goes to get Belly while I get another drink. "What are you doing" I get stopped by Conrad "in geting a drunk" i say slurring and messing up my words "You really think you need another one" he asks laughing and I roll my eyes "Come on Connie this is a party" "one more" he tells me sternly letting me pass to the drink table. I squeal with happiness at my being able to convince him and go to get my drink, filling it up more since it'll be my last one. I feel a pair of hands cover my eyes "Guess who" I turn around and say "ASHH" as if it's the first time I've seen him in forever and stumble into a hug "I missed you" I mumble into his chest. He laughs "It's been 6 minutes" "6 minutes too long," I say drinking my drink. "Jojo! Come on" Jere calls me over. "This goes out to our special little Belly button" Jeremiah says "Love you bells" I add. Then we start serenading her with the song Summer Nights from the movie Grease. Cam and a few of the deb girls join in. I didn't know at the time but in the corner of the room, both Conrad and Asher were watching our little performance, watching me specifically. "Man that girl is something" Asher says making small talk with Conrad who's looking at me with lovestruck eyes and a slight smile. He simply hums in agreement not really paying attention to the boy. "She's gonna give me a run for my money isn't she" Asher asks "Oh yeah" Conrad answers, his eyes not leaving me "But it'll be worth every minute of it."
