That day should be marked as another turning point in our relationship. Our mothers soon became best of friends, often hanging out with each other. On weekends, Mrs. Choi would come meet my mother while Yeonjun helped me with renovating the house. Mom and Mrs Choi would cook lunch and we all would sit on the patio eating and chatting together in the pleasant spring air.

Work pressure also mounted up, which made it a bit difficult to go on on dates. But that didn't stop us from enjoying our break together and sitting on the pretty rooftop during break. I would also go to his place for dinner and sometimes he would come to mine. We would prepare our meal together then eat it while watching movie or drama. However we didn't really sleep with each other. I don't know but we never really got the chance to. Yeonjun on most days would drop me off at my place. I didn't know if that should bother me, but Yeonjun was romantic in all other ways, so I didn't think too much. We would get there when the time's right, I guess.

When I look back on these days, I can't help but feel that this was a transition from the early phase of our relationship which was all dates, trying to impress the other, and giggling around like school children to the growing phase, when we get past this. There are no more frequent dates, we see each other in the most unpleasant of forms like my ratty pajamas with holes, and still feel so in love.

Admist this daily routine, life did not contain much surprises. Not until Suyeong decided it was okay to drop a bomb on us.

"How could you do this to us, you utter idiot?! "

"And here I was thinking we had a special bond.. You showed us how wrong I was Suyeong!! "

"Just look at Ahrin, Suyeong! Did you never once think what we would feel?! "

Suyeong sat there, looking miffed. He should be sorry. How could he betray us so?!

"Now, now, ladies.. Let's give him a chance to explain his side of the story... "

"Yeah Yeonjun Hyung is right... Just calm down Bobo... "

Bora glared at Hueningkai lethally, shutting him up. Yeonjun looked away, gulping slightly.

"Okay.. How do you think he is supposed to explain how he went ahead got engaged, fixed everything about his marriage and we get to know everything via a stupid INVITATION CARD?!! "

"Bora's right! He knows every single small detail about us, yet we only get to know his bride's name when he invites us to his goddamned wedding?! And here we thought we were best of friends!"

Yes, if you all are shocked think about us. Suyeong sat there, smiling guiltily. Yeonjun and Hueningkai flanked his sides, at the cafeteria table.

"You all knew mostly everything. It's just.... When you meet the one, you just know. She was talking of wanting a spring wedding and how the sakura season was approaching. So it was in the moment, that I proposed. Trust me, we both are pretty shocked. "

"See. . . It's not his fault. Just congratulate the groom, why must you interrogate him? He is promptly sweating! "

Hueningkai pretends to dab Suyeong's forehead, while Yeonjun pinches the bridge of his nose.

"See, we can have a debrief session today. It'll be my treat! But for goodness's sake, don't stay mad at me!"

And that was how we three ended up with our favourite fried chicken, other street foods and cold soda in Bora's flat. Suyeong regaled us with his whirlwind lovestory. And finally after a long list of questions, we were satisfied.

Since Suyeong had "brilliantly" given us the invitations only two weeks prior, we were in a rush. There was no time to arrange new dresses, so me and Bora had to scrounge our closets for something spring wedding appropriate.
