Author's POV
Gemini and Phuwin gazed out the window, watching Pond and Fourth engrossed in conversation. Their expressions changed frequently, captivating Phuwin's attention.
"How do you know Pond's cousin, Gem?" Phuwin asked.
"That's a long story, Phi. I'll tell you another day!" Gemini replied.
Phuwin chuckled. "He's surely cute!"
"Ikr! He's the cutest thing ever!! I want him to be min-" Gemini's eyes widened, and he quickly covered his mouth.
Phuwin's amazed eyes locked onto Gemini's. "He's yours? As in, you're...?"
Gemini's ears turned bright red.
While Pond gazed through the window, relieved to see Gemini and Phuwin sitting together, slight smiles on their faces, indicating their heart-to-heart convo was over.
He turned to Fourth, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Time to leave!" Pond exclaimed, dashing towards the cafe
Fourth chased after him, laughter echoing But, in his haste, Fourth's clumsiness struck again. He tripped and fell hard onto the floor.
Before Pond could stop laughing and offer a hand, Gemini rushed to Fourth's side. "Are you okay??? Why are you so clumsy, Ai'Fot?" Gemini asked, concern etched on his face.
Fourth's face flushed as he accepted Gemini's hand and stood up straight
Pond dramatically clutched his heart. "Ohooo, I feel single." Only to earn a smack from phuwin
Fourth burst out laughing. "I already like you, Phi!" He moved to Phuwin's side.
"Well, Fourth, I like you too, but I don't want to be killed by my own brother." Phuwin smiled, pushing the blushy Fourth towards Gemini who was already bright red by now coz in his mind he thought "he had the approval from his brother-in-law"
They settled into a table, and Pond insisted they take in the cafe's ambiance. As they finally noticed their surroundings, they were more than just stunned. The aesthetic decor and positive vibes enveloped them.
Gemini suddenly grasped Fourth's small hands into his. "Ai'Gem, leave my hand! They might see!" Fourth exclaimed, glancing at Pond and Phuwin.
Gemini's eyes sparkled mischievously. "You'd be okay with me holding your hand if they weren't here?"
Fourth's face flushed. "No!!!!"
He darted away from Gemini, who chased after him, laughter filling the air.
"Fotfot, wait for me!!" Gemini called out.
Fourth's giggles echoed through the cafe as he dodged Gemini's grasp.
Phuwin and Pond exchanged amused glances.
"Looks like someone's got a crush," Phuwin whispered.
Pond grinned. "And Fourth clearly enjoys it."
As the evening drew to a close, reluctance filled the air. They lingered, savoring each other's company.
"Tomorrow's the cafe's opening," Phuwin reminded Gemini. "Please come, Gem."
