As I reached home, my heart skipped a beat. Two bulky men in black suits stood at the front door, their faces expressionless but their presence terrifying.
Panic surged through me as I hurried inside, only to freeze at the sight before me.
My father was on his knees, trembling, with a man standing behind him, a gun pointed at his head.
"Dad...!" I cried out, rushing toward him, but before I could reach him, strong hands grabbed me from behind, pulling me back. I struggled, thrashing wildly.
"Let me go! Let me go!" I screamed, but the man holding me tightened his grip, unmoved by my pleas.
"Tsk tsk tsk… What a touching scene," a cold voice drawled behind me.
I turned and saw him—a man in a pristine white suit, sitting lazily on the couch, a gun dangling carelessly from his hand.
His dark eyes gleamed with amusement as if he was entertained by the chaos.
"But, I don’t have time for this family drama right now," he said, standing up and strolling toward us, the air thick with menace.
His voice was calm, but the cruelty in his tone sent shivers down my spine.
"Let’s end this, shall we?" he said, raising his gun and pointing it directly at my father’s head.
"No! Please! Give me some time, I’ll repay everything!" My father begged, his voice desperate and broken, but the man didn’t flinch.
"Time and chances don't exist in my world," the man chuckled, a dark, empty sound as he laughed loudly, the room echoing with his cold amusement.
"Please, don’t kill him!" I begged, tears streaming down my face.
The man stopped laughing and turned his gaze to me, his eyes narrowing as he studied me.
His lips curled into a wicked smirk as he walked toward me, his gaze locked onto mine.
He knelt down, his presence overwhelming, and grabbed the delicate chain around my neck, pulling me closer.
"So, you want to save your dad?" he said, his voice dripping with mockery. I could feel his breath against my skin as he leaned in.
"I-I’ll do anything. Please, I'll repay the debt. Just don't kill him," I stammered, my voice cracking with fear.
He chuckled darkly, his eyes flashing with something dangerous.
"Anything, huh?"
He stood, towering over me, and looked down with a cruel grin.
"Be my slave… and repay the debt" My stomach dropped at his words.
"W-what do you mean?" I stammered, my body trembling under his intense gaze.
"You'll be my slave from now" he said,
"You'll live under my roof, follow my orders, and serve me however I want. Until your father’s debt is paid. That’s the deal."
I looked at him, horrified. He couldn’t be serious. But the coldness in his eyes told me that he meant every word.
I glanced at my dad, still kneeling, his eyes filled with guilt and fear.
"Don’t… don’t do it, khun" he rasped, but I knew there was no other way. If I didn’t, he would die.
"I'll do it," I said softly, barely able to hear myself. His smirk widened.
"Good boy," he murmured, straightening up. "Smart choice."
One of his men released my dad and dragged me toward the door. My dad reached out weakly, his voice desperate.
"No... Pete" my dad screamed
"I’ll be okay, Dad," I managed to say, though the truth was, I had no idea what I was walking into.
As the door slammed shut behind us, I was shoved into the backseat of the black car. The man in black went to seat another car.
The car began to move, and I could barely keep myself from shaking as the streets blurred by outside the window. I had no idea where we were going, but I knew this was the point of no return.
As the car drove farther into the city, I felt my life slipping further out of my control. I was at his mercy now.
Whatever he wanted, whatever he expected—my life was no longer my own.
