"We’ve got a problem," Kinn said as soon as I stepped into my office. He stood up from the couch, a glass of wine in his hand, his face tight with frustration.

I walked toward my chair and sat down, unfazed.

"Someone’s backstabbing us," Kinn continued, taking a slow sip of his wine. "There’s a spy among us. Someone who’s been watching us closely."

I raised an eyebrow, crossing one leg over the other as I leaned back in my chair, swirling my own glass of wine before taking a sip. "Hmm, so?"

Kinn’s tone sharpened, his patience wearing thin. "So!? Is that all you have to say?" His frustration was barely contained.

I smirked, enjoying the tension. "It’s not the first time we’ve had a rat among us, Kinn," I replied calmly, still swirling my glass.

"And it won’t be the last. Besides, we both know who that son of a b**ch is." My smirk widened as I stood up from my chair. "It’s time we show him my special room."

Kinn's eyes gleamed with understanding, and the tension in his posture shifted into something darker.

I moved to the window, looking out at the city below, my hands clasped behind my back.

"He has no idea what’s waiting for him." I turned around, my gaze locking with Kinn’s. “Get him to the room. I want him in my basement as soon as possible"

Kinn nodded and pulled out his phone, his expression matching mine—cold and calculating. "I’ll handle it. He won’t see the next morning."

"Good," I said, pausing at the window to look out at the city.

As Kinn made the call, my mind was already racing ahead, planning every step. The "special room" wasn’t just for punishment—it was for breaking people, making them understand just how deep they’d fallen into the pit they’d dug for themselves.

Once Kinn hung up, he turned to me with a dark smile. "He’s ours now. He’ll be in the room soon." I nodded, satisfied.

Pete pov

I was quietly cleaning the house like I did every day since I started working for Khun Vegas.

It had been a week since I came here, working as his slave because of my father’s debts. Most days, I stuck to my tasks—cleaning and cooking—and tried to avoid attention.

As I was finishing, I noticed something new—a staircase I hadn’t seen before. It was hidden in the shadows, leading down into the darkness.

I hesitated for a moment, but curiosity got the better of me, and I slowly walked down the stairs.

The hallway at the bottom was dimly lit with red lights, making everything feel strange and unsettling.

The walls were lined with glass cases, and inside, I saw guns neatly displayed. The whole place felt like something out of a movie—a place I shouldn’t be.

Suddenly, I heard a loud scream, like someone crying in pain. I stopped, my heart racing. Fear crept up my spine, but I forced myself to keep walking.

As I got closer, the sounds became louder, and my hands were shaking.

At the end of the hallway was a glass door. I could hear the crying and yelling more clearly now. My breath caught in my throat as I approached the door.

Through the glass, I saw a man sitting in a chair, but I couldn’t hear everything clearly. I froze, staring in shock.

Then, I saw Khun Vegas walk up to the man. He was calm, too calm, like nothing was wrong. I held my breath, standing there, unable to move. Through the glass, I could only watch, too scared to do anything else.

I’ve seen Khun Vegas this past week, always with Khun Macau. He seemed so different then—kind, gentle even, like a good brother who’d do anything for his brother.

But the person I’m looking at through this glass door, He looks like a monster.

That smile on his face as he looked at the man tied to the chair—it wasn’t the khun Vegas I’d seen before. It was something else, something terrifying.

The way he moved, slow and deliberate, as he punched the man over and over… it made my stomach churn. I was frozen, my feet glued to the spot, unable to move, unable to look away.

Then, as he turned to grab a pair of pliers from the table, our eyes met.

My heart stopped. His gaze pierced through me, and my eyes widened in shock.

Panic flooded me. I glanced around, desperately searching for a way out, but my legs wouldn’t cooperate. I couldn’t move.

Khun Vegas smirked, that creepy, unsettling smile still on his lips, and started walking toward the door.

I began trembling uncontrollably. My palms were slick with sweat. My heart pounded in my chest, and I could barely breathe.

I swallowed hard as he opened the glass door and stepped out, stopping right in front of me.

I was mumbling to myself, barely able to form a coherent thought. 'This is it. I’m done. Today’s my last day on earth. No one will ever know what happened to me.'

I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing myself for whatever was going to happen next.

"K-Khun—" I tried to speak, but before I could finish, something hard pressed against me.
