As I wrapped my arms around Vegas, I felt the tension in his body begin to ease, like he was finally letting go of everything he’d been holding in.

It was almost surreal—Vegas, the tough, intimidating man who never showed his emotions, was now here, vulnerable in my arms, pouring his heart out to me.

His words echoed in my mind, and I could feel a lump forming in my throat. No one had ever spoken to me like that before. No one had ever made me feel so seen, so understood.

It was overwhelming, and I didn’t know how to handle the emotions swirling inside me.

I held him closer, trying to ground myself as the weight of everything settled over me.

His confession had broken something inside me—something I didn’t even realize I was protecting. My walls, the ones I had carefully built to keep myself safe, were crumbling.Taking a deep breath, I whispered,

"When I first saw you in my house that day, I hated you. I hated you so much... I wanted to kill you when you held that gun to my father’s head." My voice shook slightly as I remembered the fear, the anger I had felt back then.

"I thought I’d never forgive you."

Vegas didn’t say anything, but I could feel him tense slightly, as if my words had struck a chord.

"But then... when I came here, when I got to know you better, I realized you were different." My voice softened, and I pulled back slightly to look into his eyes.

"You’re different when you’re with other people... and when you’re with your brother... and especially when you’re with me."

His eyes flickered with something—something deep, something raw. He wasn’t the cold, ruthless Vegas with me. He was something else. Someone else.

"You always make me feel like I’m the most important person in your life," I whispered, my voice thick with emotion.

"You make me feel like the luckiest person on earth. Like I... like I deserve to be loved." My voice cracked on the last word, and I could feel the tears welling up in my eyes, my chest tightening as I tried to hold back a sob but failed miserably.

I never thought I’d feel this way, never thought someone like Vegas would make me feel this way. But here I was, standing in front of him, completely exposed, my heart on the line.

And for the first time in a long time, I didn’t feel scared. I felt... safe.

He hugged me tightly, and I felt the warmth of his body against mine as tears continued to stream down my face. It was a release, a culmination of everything I had been holding in, and I found solace in his embrace.

After what felt like an eternity, he broke the hug and gently cupped my face in his large palm, wiping away my tears with his thumb. His gaze locked onto mine, filled with a love that made my heart race.

"Don’t cry," he said softly.

"I don’t like it when you cry. I hate seeing tears in your eyes—whether they’re because of me, for me, or even tears of happiness or sadness. I just don’t want to see your eyes filled with tears." His voice was sincere, and he pressed a gentle kiss to my eyelids, as if trying to erase the pain.

"I always want to see your dimple smile... but—" he trailed off, looking deep into my eyes, our gazes locked together.

"But...?" I breathed, holding my breath in anticipation.

"But only for me. Smile only for me. You’re mine, Pete. Only mine, and I don’t like to share what’s mine." His deep, husky voice sent shivers down my spine as he leaned closer, our lips almost touching.

"In a world full of darkness, you're my light, Pete. My moon. I promise to always protect you, to always cherish you, to always love you." His voice was soft, a whisper only for me, as his lips gently brushed mine.

The kiss started tender, almost hesitant, as if he was pouring every unspoken word into that moment, letting his love flow through our connection.

I felt the warmth of his lips, the softness, the way he held me like I was something fragile, precious. My heart fluttered in my chest, every beat echoing his confession.

Before I knew it, Vegas lifted me effortlessly. Instinctively, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders, my legs locking around his waist.

He held me close, his grip firm but tender, our kiss never breaking. He carried me to his bed with slow, deliberate steps, as if he had all the time in the world to cherish this moment.

He gently laid me down on the bed, his body pressing against mine as he came on top of me. His weight was comforting, grounding me in the intensity of the moment.

The kiss deepened, turning more passionate. His lips moved against mine with urgency now, his hands caressing my face, my neck, like he couldn't get enough of me. I felt his love, his need, all of it pouring into that kiss—like he was afraid to let me go.

When he finally broke the kiss, we were both breathless, our foreheads pressed together, his breath warm against my lips. His eyes were filled with an intensity that made my chest tighten.

"I love you, Pete," he whispered, his voice raw with emotion.

"My heart, my breath, even my soul... they're yours now. You can do anything with them. It’s all yours. I am yours" His words hung in the air, heavy with meaning, as his lips hovered just above mine.

He was about to kiss me again, his lips brushing mine with a featherlight touch, when suddenly, the sound of someone screaming from downstairs shattered the moment.

I froze, still wrapped in each other, and after a beat of silence, there was a knock at the door.

"Khun Vegas, Khun Porsche is here. He's calling for you," Nop's voice echoed through the room, breaking the intimate moment.

Hearing Porsche's name, my eyes widened.

Vegas' expression shifted immediately—his eyes narrowed, and I could see his jaw clench in clear frustration. He didn't move, his body still pressed close to mine, as though refusing to acknowledge the interruption.

"P-Porsche…?" I whispered, my voice barely audible.
